I was born in a christian home. I grew up thinking my parents were forcing christianity on me. Until I had a personal encounter when I left home for tertiary. I always thank God for not giving up on me.

I was also bought up in a Christian home. With prayer each time meals were served. My parents were very precious to me. My husband was to. It makes a big difference to us. My Mum was always doing things for Church and my Dad was too. Someone who I was talking to said to me I’d love that but unfortunately she wasn’t. My daughter left Hillsong in 2011 as she didn’t like Brian Houston. The Anglican Church where she goes now is wonderful minister. Moore College is the place to learn theology. She will never go back to Hillsong as she doesn’t like it.

interesting the tune used for the first song had its roots in the dublin awakening that resulted in the brethern movement and used in their informal communion worship services for 200 years of an hour which concluded with communion emblems being taken , a time with singing, readings prayers that just happened each sunday without organisation and often developed a theme of that morning which even the children would pick up on and say "that was a good one this morning "

I was a drummer for many years. My observation is the drummer destroys the beautiful orchestra with their violins, trumpets flutes and every other instrument present. a shame. If you want a rock band take away the orchestra and bring in the electric guitars and such.
