Symphony Of The Seas Arrives in Miami

Royal Caribbean's newest ship, "Symphony Of The Seas", completed her transatlantic crossing and arrived at her new home port in Miami, Florida, on November 9, 2018.
The folks at Royal Caribbean sent me some beautiful aerial video of the ship arriving in Miami before dawn, and they've allowed me to share it with you. Also, I've got video of their brand new terminal which recently completed construction. It's terminal A at the port of Miami.
Symphony Of The Seas is the largest cruise ship in the world, and does 7 day Eastern and Western Caribbean cruises as well as 3 & 4 day cruises to the Bahamas.

They filmed these videos with drones, I was onboard the inaugural sailing and the drones camp up close to everyone near Ultimate Abyss, I waited an hour through the fireworks show to celebrate the inauguration. Absolutely breathtaking!

It was my first cruiseship. The best and biggest ship in the world. I enjoyed it so much. It was amazing and food was the best. Went from miami to St. Maarten, St. Thomas and Bahamas. 11-24-18 to 12-01-18.. we onboard 6,000 people included 2,200 crews... the best vacation I ever had. Hello from California here.

Miami is a great port for cruise ships. We stayed further away than your advice, as we came two days early to do a driving tour of Miami. We did find an Argentine Steak House that had very good sauce flavors served with the meat, so different form A1 or Lawry's type seasoning as normally served in the US. There was a yacht show or something going on, and it was really fun to walk around and see all the private yachts for sale. We should have planned 3 days in Miami before the cruise. Also, we rented a convertible car, and that was so much fun, as the weather was good.

Don’t you get lots of vacation time off . My husband is also a stationary engineer, he only works 150 = 12 hr shifts a year. I can only dream of that much time off. Love watching your videos; thanks char

Can’t wait for next year on the Symphony, been on all 3 Oasis ships, Harmony twice, and other R.C.ships, going on the Edge in February for something different, then back to the Symphony. Loved all 12 cruises except the Regal, was too quiet for our 72 year old taste. The Norwegian Getaway was good but not like R.C. Ships. Very seldom get off the ship except for Labadee, did the zip line twice. We feel the ship is the destination not the ports. Thanks for your great videos on different ships, I watch all ship videos before I book. Yours is usually the most credible. Keep up the wonderful videos.

They never said it wasnt in airports. They just said this carousel system is new for ship terminals to have a setup where you arent pulling bins off a hand stacked pile that has your brakes dragged on a cart back to the front of the que.
