Matt, I just got off Symphony yesterday, 2/25 and I agree! This was my first cruise and I am hooked. I already booked this ship again for next year. Everyone I talked to all agreed that this is the best ship in the fleet, even beating out Wonder of the Seas. She was at full capacity it didn't really feel like it

We just went on Wonder of the Seas and booked a balcony in Central Park!! We Absolutely Loved It!! So beautiful at night. Sitting on the balcony listening to the music and feeling the breeze was the best part of the cruise. ❤️

Same. I went on the inaugural sail in 2018 on the Mediterranean. We just booked the same ship for October out of NJ where we from. I actually think I will enjoy it more because with so many ports on the Mediterranean I didn't really get to soak in all the ship has to offer.

It doesn’t seem, at least from these walkthrough tours, that there are any really substantial differences between the various Oasis-class ships…outside of artwork (and ever-increasing size, so they can, at least temporarily, claim the “biggest cruise ship in the World” honor!) they seem to have identical layouts-have you ever considered doing a “what’s unique on each Oasis-class ship “ article?? This might be interesting!

He does have a video talking about their individual differences......it's mostly the entertainment that changes. But structurally yes the are all the same.

Yeah I think it’s pretty boring that they’re all just the same. I guess it makes sense because then they can have more alike boats going at the same time, however they should stop now and make a new class. All of the sport’s entertainments and water slide type activities get super crowded and deserve more space. Ping pong tables inside would be nice and other things like that, or multiple sports courts would be an awesome upgrade as well.

I went on it earlier this summer. If you want to go swimming then around 5:00 is when the pools and slides are all empty so you have the whole pool and slides to yourself.

The aqua show Hiro is great, I highly recommend you see it if you go on this ship. The week I was on, I think I went to see it 4 times, I liked it that much!

Before I could book that show, unfortunately it got filled up. Do they still allow you to stand behind and watch as its an open air show?

@@VarunGorur Yes they do, that's how I watched the one time as they were booked up. Another time, was able to get in from the standby line as some people didn't show up. Do try to reserve if you can.

We just got off the Symphony of the Seas yesterday - it was our first Royal Caribbean Cruise and we loved it! Just so much variety of activities and food and entertainment. It is big and there are a lot of people but we had a great vacation. I am with you though in that I was surprised that the Ultimate Abyss was kinda slow and tame (the audio and visual elements were pretty cool too). Hairspray and HiRO blew me away with the quality of the shows

@@jonathangalvez5559 most of the food is included, there are a number of specialty restaurants though that are extra (either can pay per meal or buy a package). For drinks, only the very basics are included (water, flavored water, coffee, etc) - then they have a variety of drink packages (soda, refreshment, deluxe which includes all alcoholic beverages up to $14). You can also just pay-per drink if only planning to have a few

At 20:07 in the video, you’ll see a balcony cabin on the left with a red flag on it. That was our cabin and that segment was filmed on Super Bowl Sunday before we finished decor.

Looking forward to Symphony Of The Sea May 16th 2024. Just came off anthems of the sea and had a great time. I've been on Voyager of the sea Explorer of the sea Adventures of the sea Liberty of the sea. I became hook after my 12-day Tahiti Hawaii Princess Cruise tried Carnival one time that was a wrap and then Norwegian one time but mostly I'm loyal 2 Royal.

I just finished my 6th cruise (5 of them with royal caribbean) and once you go into a lot of ships you get bored of the same food all the time. On my next cruise im gonna buy the dinning package because i wanna experiment new things. Hope that helps

Also some of the food in these restaurants you can't get anywhere else on the ship or can only get it on certain nights. We I go I'm going to Wonderland. That's not an experience you can get somewhere else on the ship.

As a pianist myself, I am most excited for the piano key staircase 🎹 !! Going on Harmony this Oct, so it may be a while before we get to do Symphony. But that would be a reason for choosing Symphony next time, as opposed to a second Harmony or another Oasis class.

For the ice cream machine I’m assuming one machine is for regular ice cream and the other machine is for frozen yogurt is that correct? Not a fan of frozen yogurt, so was just curious if they had regular ice cream. Thanks!
