Dan, spot on I had childhood traumas, miscarriages, medicalized, bedbound 3 yrs then HOPE finding out about TMS/PDP got me off the edge and into the Coaching Calls and baby steps slow and steady I’m getting my life back! Going out doing things engaging in life eating foods I want, no longer sitting on a cushion for 15 yrs, driving again the list goes on! Listen to Dans concepts and consistency and implement implement implement and you will be swimming closer to the basket! Thank you Dan the Mindset Man🙏

You mentioned..."What if someone was watching you?" 1 1/2 years ago my excavator buddy came to help on my property. We discussed my symptoms and limping and TMS. The next day he heard me grunting and groaning to put on my socks and shoes, which was a painful challenge. He suggested that I try to put on my boots without the sound effects. Others have heard me making noises. Now, I catch myself and stop it.

Yesterday I went to a state park near me for a walk. It’s the first time I’ve walked since a bad flareup on Monday. I gave myself the grace of rest and repair, and instead of pushing myself, I listened to my body mind. I had an interesting experience. At one point on the walk, I stepped into a clearing to look at the beautiful Creek flowing by. I could feel the pushy part of my personality, saying to me, “ you can’t stop, you’ve got to push on!” I allowed myself the pause to gaze and take in nature’s beauty. Tears were streaming down my face as I realized I am allowed to pause. Something, Winston Churchill said, keeps running through my mind lately, “ you can’t reason with a tiger when your head is in its mouth!” I think my head’s been in the Tigers mouth for a long time!

Rough night sleep then family stuff from early on. Random symptoms all morning lol. Got outside and the breathing tightness started. I know it's PDP I'm trying to get on doing stuff. Only got 3/4 of the drive to a specific shop and had to abandon the drive. Tears follow cos I'm frustrated and unhappy, pull myself together with a talk to my brain trying not to judge myself. Didn't drive straight home, went to another shop n then drove and parked up outside the park. Listening to you, very apt and then I'm going try walk into the park. Thanks

@@massagepublications it's the only option for me to try move forward. I wholly believe it's PDP breaking the habit especially when symptoms show in my breathing is proving a bit more difficult. I did get into the park, probably rushing in and out to be honest lol but I know deep down I can do this. Wishing you strength too.

So true Dan!!! Thanks to you I realized I was still scared. On august 1 after listening to your video I realized this! I have worked and understood this since March and I thought I was really understanding and doing everything correctly but I wasn’t. I was still fearing symptoms. Since I changed my mindset I have really seen a difference!!! Anything little anxious feeling I now tell my brain to “shhhh you’ll be fine” and I relax! Thanks again soooo much!!!!

Dan I had a serious bout of vertigo the other day while I was driving felt like I was tipping over falling down. The thing is I don’t have vertigo I’ve been to the doctor twice for it. My stress levels have been through the roof new baby less income cause my wife is not currently working. Truthfully it’s scary it seems like I have no control.

Thanks dan I’ve just found your work and you’re such a great guy! I’ve chronic fatigue and various other symptoms all mostly autonomic nervous system - fully house bound sadly now despite lots treatments i’m totally at the end as this is not the life I want! 😔 I’ve Extreme muscle burning pain bc of lack of ATP energy which produces a byproduct lactic acid in muscles which gives this pain. More I do worse it is something called PEM. Like doing 20 marathons up hill! Can this help this? I have done DNRS program and actually that made me worse because it was about ignoring your symptoms and I therefore crashed further bc I pushed through and declined further which then of course makes my mind worse. To be clear we are promoting a sense of safety in the body from the brain which I know my nervous system needs and not ignoring symptoms but not listening to them verbatim ….but also essentially not pushing through so one doesn’t crash further. So cultivating safety in the system but also pacing your energy as well. So your body gets the message and then hopefully dampens down the fire alarms and protection of unwanted symptoms? I’m going to keep listening to your videos but if you can let me know I’ve got this right I’ll be so grateful and you’re so beautiful I love listening to you and I need you in my ear every day!! ❤️

You have this mostly right. I don't agree with your second paragraph where you speak about your understanding of the cause of pain. In my experience and research, the pain and fatigue is caused only by the brain perceiving danger. It's that simple. Thus, the solution is teaching the brain we are safe. Getting super clear on the true cause of the pain and fatigue is the starting point. kzbin.info/www/bejne/qp-4Z354dttonMk - this video will help. I was recently interviewed on a podcast about Fatigue. Check it out too. kzbin.info/www/bejne/oKnCo5mpaqaKndk

@@PainFreeYou thanks dan I’m very grateful To clarify If one over trains and they get muscle pain this is similar to what I was describing about but with people with CFS they get this from minimal movement I understood it was just physiology A bit like delayed onset muscle (DOM) pain common in athletes when someone over trains the body is stopping you from doing any more exercise by producing lactic acid which hurts. So you have to listen to your body right because it’s stopping you from doing any more damage to the muscle fibres I guess a bit like spraining your ankle. But is this the same - is this the perceived danger or the actual danger as in your brain is telling your body to stop? Is it a case of just Given constant messages of safety and waiting for the muscles to recover and of course not pushing through? Thank you so much I’m so grateful for your work ❤️
@PainFreeYou
@PainFreeYou Жыл бұрын
@@DA-gi6gs TMS and Perceived Danger pain is not like overtraining muscles. When you truly lift weights, you are causing micro tears - which is the point so during the healing, the muscle grows stronger. The BRAIN is creating your pain. There is no issue with the muscles at all. The presence of pain is NOT a reliable indicator of the condition of the body. It is a very reliable indicator that the brain is perceiving danger. Try to get the lactic acid story out of your head. The subconscious brain controls all the pain all of the time.
