SYMPTOMS OF AN OVERFILLED CAR ENGINE OIL

dealerships overfill on purpose to force too much Pressue on the piston rings, burn out piston rings and burns oil, won't even see the oil burning, vapor from exhaust is all that is seen. Check capacity with oil filter changed every time. Change every 5000 miles no matter if semi/or full synthetic.

@@Montmont-s5g: Changed the oil then tried to burn off the excess oil build up. It's still smoking like crazy and there's a leak underneath the car. Gotta have it checked by a mechanic now. There's no smoke coming from the engine though.

@@WSWC_ Still smoke might be a bad PCV valve.. I did buy the Valve cover from a junk yard after seeing it crack on my original one.

i added oil to my car because it was low and once i started it up it started puking the oil out from underneath the car.as soon as i shut it off it stopped leaking

how much oil is overfilled that could reach the rotating crank and cause foaming?? my car was overfilled by 1Liter by our local dealer and I was able to use the for 2500km before I already discovered it. but i didn't experienced those symptoms

My mechanic did the same thing. And i drained the excess oil. But the engine isn't smooth as before even after draining the oil. My car was buttery smooth even before oil change but not now. When AC is switched on i get very poor mileage and the engine seems to struggle to pull after this issue. I don't know what to do

I bought a petrol car which emits a white smoke after 1st start of the day . Smoke came mostly 30 Sec later , and rest for the few second. Mechanic told me ,may be its because of overfill of egnine oil which was access almost more then half litre. What is your view on that

Would it stop my car from going into manual mode. It started soon as I serviced it and a KZbin video showed how to enter some engineered mode and it shows it has almost a litre of excess oil that needs to be drained. Any advice. Other than drain immediately

Him.. after an oil change at Jiffy lube in Kennesaw Ga, about 1 or 2 days later I started experiencing engine shakes on drive and reverse with brakes on. I inspected the oil level and was on the on the dime. So I was puzzled. I remember that during a simple oil change the manager (Ernest T Bass) squeaky voice ask me if I would like a transmission change, they had already dismantled the engine air filter again without my permission. I said no, another time when I can afford it. He try to milk me for the full service even when I specified just a basic oil change.so I told him I had already purchased the cabin and air filter. He made a cringe face when I ask if he could change them. He had someone do it. I was starting to worry when I noticed the person at the underside of the bay was having difficulty removing the oil filter on my Toyota RAV4 2011. After 30 minutes I asked him what’s taking so long? He confessed they broke the oil filter and had order another one from an auto parts store. WHAT! Why didn’t you tell me up front I angrily ask! Short of time I had to call an Uber for my wife to go to work. You know they would have charged me for it if I didn’t ask. You know, during the years I have been going there they had three replacement of managers and crew. One group shiftier than the other! I went to Pepboys in kennesaw Ga, to her my motto mounts may be the problem, paired $600.00 to go back with the shake. They had another mechanic check it to say the replace the other mount. It still did the same thing, then they said it may be the catalytic converter. The cost to replace it $1,780.00! I told them thank you and thought to myself I am 62 years old with two eyes developing cataract. I may have to diagnose the issue myself. Since I know those hillbillies sabotaged my car, I wonder how. Then I got an idea of one possibility. They overfilled my oil which have wet my Coil Well and contaminated all 4 cylinder. Then later emptied the oil to the right level masking the engine coils. Today I’m going to check them. The problem has been 1 month already, yes I changed the transmission and filter. Still shakes! These days of finding a trustworthy mechanic is slim .. The advice I have for those folks with trust issues, go to auto mechanic school or have anyone in your family learn and do it yourself, you are probably losing cash on auto repairs!
