If the compressor is cutting off , could this be due to pressure switch malfunctioning too?

FYI. On my 2005 C-Max there are 2 pressure switches, one on the low pressure pipe and one on the high pressure pipe.

It's a sensor.. not a switch. Low pressure side has a switch though.
