Thanks for actually walking through the menus. I ordered my Cactus Grey Badlands a week ago. They laughed when I asked when it would delivered. “You should have it by winter.” Minimum 3-4 months. So I watch all the videos. I can’t wait to get mine.

Wow, surprised they gave you a by the winter timeline. Depending on the rest of your build that 3-4 month timeline seems about right though Hah there are so many great videos on the Bronco to keep the anticipation until yours shows up! Think you'll end up taking it off-road?

You're welcome! That is a good question.. 🤔 I've actually never tried connecting both of them that way before but the system defaults incoming phone calls to the one that's connected via Android Auto or CarPlay

That's exciting! Factory navigation is available as an option in the Bronco Sport. Just make sure the one you're after has the Ford Co-Pilot 360 Assist+ package to get it! If it doesn't have that package you can also use Android Auto or Apple CarPlay

Can you use magic sync instead of the long cord? I can't seem to use a friends, didn't connect to it

You can connect over bluetooth for audio and phone calls but you need to be connected over USB to use Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. If the USB cable isn't working it's probably the cable itself. I find that a lot of 3rd party cables don't support data transfer. It's best to use an Apple cable, Samsung etc or make sure that the cable you pick up has a data icon next to the part of the cable you plug into the car

Check your window sticker to see if yours has the 4G LTE credit. If it does then your hotspot wouldn't work..

Haha always good when you find what you're looking for. Glad the video helped... There's no way to get wireless Android Auto or Apple CarPlay from the factory unfortunately

Thanks. One more question. I purchased the Bronco first aid kit and off-road assistant kit. Both have straps to secure in the back, but the diagram is confusing. Any hints or pictures? Just got them for the Bronco logo bling.

It should come standard in the Big Bend, Outer Banks and Badlands. Do you have the base model?

Hmm.. Try doing a soft reset first by pressing an holding the volume power button and right seek for 5 - 10 seconds. If that doesn't work, delete the phone connection from your vehicle and your vehicle connection from your phone's bluetooth. Then perform the reset and try connecting again

Any idea why everything but traffic works? Sirius has refreshed our signal a dozen times. Movies, weather, etc work. Just not traffic. It says unsubscribed even though we are.

Check under the Apps button on the bottom tray of the media screen and select SiriusXM Travel Link. If traffic is showing there but it's not working, you can also try to perform a master reset

@@JeffHoganSimEdTech head to Settings --> General Settings --> Reset edit: that will also remove all phones and delete your existing presets

@@JeffHoganSimEdTech odd that it keeps telling you you aren't subscribed when SiriusXM are telling you otherwise. If the reset doesn't work you can try having your Ford dealer take a look next time it's in for service

In Android Auto if you connect USB C to USB C your phone will charge and play AA.

I just took delivery of my BS Outer Banks on Friday and was shocked to learn I don’t have factory navigation. 🤯

unfortunately not standard tech, you would have needed to add the Co-Pilot 360 Assist+ package to get it. Always the option for Android Auto or Apple CarPlay and use phone maps through the screen. If you really want factory nav you can try to find a wrecked BS, or check with your Ford dealer for a Sync3 screen with factory nav to be installed. Probably run you $1,000+ though

In the new Sync4 system you can just connect your audio instead of the phone as well... it'll be a few years until that tech finds its way to the Bronco Sport though

There are people that watch 2x speed and can keep up no problem. KZbin has playback options where you can slow it down - try 0.75x instead of regular speed. I have chapters so you can jump to the necessary sections and you can always pause and rewind as needed. You might also want to learn how to not insult people that might have learning disabilities... 👍
