Hi. The root is running the backup.sh from /usr/local/bin/backup.sh but you made changes to the backup.sh in the /tmp. How does that work? How is root using the /tmp backup.sh? Even the pspy64 showed that it's using /usr/local/bin. Thanks.

No I didn't. I copied the script to /tmp/ so I had a backup in case I broke it - but made the modifications to the original file 🙂

Hi Tyler, I can learn to copy from the videos, I have some materials but I still don't feel prepared to hack a machine. If you can give me any advice I would be grateful, congratulations on the channel.

I'm a beginner and it is difficult to follow. Can you list only all commands that have been used in this video, please. For beginners this would be helpful.

It is not about commands or tools it is about the methodology and knowledge about vulns

Yup, I agree with @codermomo1792 -- Also, Vulnlab isn't a beginner platform. You may benefit more from my videos about TryHackMe :)

The video lesson is really interesting. Is the notes available in GitHub?
