Thanks a lot! :) Up until now I have only been making short videos with solutions to whatever setup-issue i come across, so others hopefully can save some time, but its a good idea that I could consider in the future! :) I would really recommend checking out the videos from channels such as Event-Lighting and Jonathan D. Martin to get more in depth into GrandMA3!

Do you know if it's possible to run Logic with SMTPE sending a signal internally to MagicQ or something similar. I'm just playing around and want to test some lights and when it's for real it will go as a SMTPE out from the computer to the real lightning engineer the way you show here I guess. But I'm a newbie and just wanted to see what the cues look like on the computer with a visualizer.

You can do this internally on one computer, yes. I dont know MagicQ very well, but you can download GrandMA3 OnPC for free (which has a built in visualizer), and route the MTC (Midi Timecode) this way from Logic to GrandMA3. If you want to do it with LTC timecode, like you would do sending a timecode track to the light engineer with an XLR cable at a gig, you could try to send a SMTPE track from Logic to a loopback output, (if your soundcard has that option), and input it into Lockstep (Watch this video for more info on lockstep: kzbin.info/www/bejne/epS2kqN_rr-Io8U&ab_channel=TorfinnLysne-Lighting) converting it to MTC, and then recieve it as MTC in whatever lighting software you are using. Its made by a Norwegian manifacturer called "Rufo". It came with a small ETC console that I bought off the used market, so I dont know the exact model, but you can look at their website here: www.rufo.no/ Cheers!
