Sync Your Chart Drawings: Tutorial

Instant synchronization means all of your chart layouts, on all devices, tabs or windows, will now sync with each other.
If you have a chart layout open on your desktop and the same chart layout on your phone, any drawing you add will instantly sync to each chart.
This is going to be an incredibly helpful feature for everyone who uses multiple devices or windows to perform their research.

I would prefer if there's an option for drawing to be synced across the ticker not limited to layouts only. Because I prefer to save layouts for different strategies and the only.common thing about them is I like to draw support and resistance, and it's extremely annoying and tiring to draw the same support and resistance of same ticker for evey different layout. Can you make the option available pleasee

Yes please!! It's so time consuming to copy & paste drawings. When using multi chart layout on multiple monitors, then you're stuck with the tickers you transferred drawings for.

Any updates on sync the same ticker? Instead of the layout? As someone said a year ago I have multiple layouts for multiple timeframes.

This improvement is helpful but it only works when you are in a single view layout. Any changes made to the single chart layout do not sync once a user selects to split the layout into 2, 3, 4, 6, or 8 sections. All old drawings & old versions of the layout are displayed. If you add new drawings, they go over the existing ones & make the chart a mess. If you unsync then it's pointless. I'd rather the user have the ability to sync drawings to the ticker. Why are the layout settings not applied when you select multi-chart layout, whether it's 4 or 8 charts on the screen? A user should not have to copy & paste drawings to utilize the multi chart layout as it's extremely time consuming. It's very frustrating to see new features added but not addressing the issues that persist for years now. A few years ago, this feature worked properly and now it doesn't. I've seen a large number of people request this feature via TV reddit page but it is still ignored. TV - Please add feature to associate drawings to a ticker, or sync in a multi-chart layout

So what you're saying is, I can't simply sync my drawings across the multi chart layout or at all? I don't need multiple tabs when using the multiple chart layout.

yeah exactly - i hardly use layouts in fact, I use one! But when I spend ages doing drawings and setting on all my tickers, then open that ticker in a multi-chart configuration, and see none of that work appear... it's utterly mind-boggling!

Good afternoon, I have the tradingview desktop, and even though I have the same symbol and template, the drawings are not synchronized. I also tried from the browser and it doesn't work, are you sure that the synchronization of drawings works?

Can you add the window "full window" mode to the platform instead of the fullscreen mode that takes up the whole monitor? Plus can you add a feature to toggle all the side columns away to have just a clean naked chart window in front of us?

Here is my requirement, please let me know to how to accomplish this: I have a Weekly, Daily and hourly chart. Because of Instant synchronization, whatever I draw on every chart, it shows up in all the charts. What I want is, I want drawings to propagate from Weekly to Daily to Hourly. Hourly drawings need not display on Daily and Weekly charts. How to achieve this? Thank you for your help.

Can you by using this synchronised tab feature also to navigate through your watchlist from 1 ticker to the next and then see each screen transition to the next ticker. ie Screen 1 = Daily chart; Screen 2= 4hrly chart; Screen 3= 1hr chart?

Morning, currently I use two different layouts for my trading. For analyses I use one layout of three charts in 1D / 1 H / 5 min. per share. And for checking the right entry I use a second layout with 4 different charts of 5 min for 4 shares parallel. In my 5 minutes analysis chart I mark prices ranges for a trade. And in my check layout 4 x 5 minutes I wait for the right entry. Is it possible to synchronize the price range boxes in both layouts? best regards

This is interesting.. good video. so how do you showcase a video without showing the steps on how to activte it? because i have a layout with two charts and others with one chart, but the one with two chart is not showing they sync. are you saying his function does not apply to layouts with two or more charts trying to view the drawings on one symbol?

Hey is this feature done automatically. Not really sure how to enable it.... I figured it out lol He shows what it can do but not how to do it. GREAT video👎 lol so you have to go to the bottom panel, mine was on the left, and enable global sync. Its right above the trash can icon. Switch it from local.
