Synchronize the Carburetors 2006 Kawasaki Concours

these videos have saved my ass big time . I bought my 96 connie at an auction for 450.00 with 20,000 miles on the odometer. but the main problem is it sat for about 15 years or so without the bike being set up for storage so far I have put about 600.00 in it .and finally got it going with the help of these videos thanks again

Nice job , there Brian.I need to ad that you MUST make sure your valves are within spec before you do this synch .I think it BEST to adjust the synch NOT at idle , but at around 4,000 rpm , just as if you are going down the road .

good video! the reason that the result is better at 4000rpm is because at 4000 you have eliminated the influence of the idle circuits. at 4000 the engine mainly runs on the jetting. Just my opnion.

If you do this, I have re-done it at 4,000 RPM and the results were even better. FYI. Get a second person to hold your RPM at a 3500-4000 level and do this again.

So to clarify even more, do you sync 1&2 at 4,000 rpm and then 3&4 at 4,000rpm or the main screw in the middle at 4,000rpm after each side is done?

@@Silverado21 this was so many years ago, I believe I did the pairs as you said, or I may have done odds/evens. The gauge has all 4. The final result is all 4 as balanced as possible. I hope this answers your question.

No, mine was original paint. I have long since sold it and moved on, but I knew many others with red of the same year
