This is awesome and amazing success story. I keep hearing that tracking all your metrics and time is a constant thing for successful people. I track my social media metrics, what libraries I'm sending to, which one's reply or not. What music I have with what libraries. I think I should also track individual track genres so I can see what is better for my style.

Great to hear some success stories. I am curious, though. Does he live in Italy or is from Italy living here in the U.S.? And he never quite answered what else he does for a living to compensate financially while waiting for the royalties to come in. It really sounded like all he does is make music. Which is great! But for us getting into the business, we (mostly) have to keep some kind of job to help pay the bills. The question about residency pertains to the fact that Italy has a great, affordable healthcare system. Here in the U.S., healthcare is expensive, and sometimes having a job with benefits helps.

Hey! Yes, I live in Italy. Sorry about not properly answering all the questions maybe, I tried to answer in the most generic way possible and I probably skipped a few important points. Btw, I work only in the music business, but not only in production. I mainly do: custom composing, production music, teaching and gigging. I am slowly going into full time composing tho, also thanks to good upfront fees in the Sync world, which I totally forgot to mention! Yes, having a good welfare in Italy is a great support for sure, but there are some downsides too.

He didn't really answer the question about how he manages his schedule in regards to producers who work full time jobs. I'm thinking, when you're an "at home" worker, there's enough time to complete much more.
