I'm good I will continue... Just wanted to spread the frustration and let people know it is part of the game we are in. Thanks for the boost of confidence it's all good. I love what I do so this definitely won't stop me.

I was checking with one of my publishers about when the tracks will appear in my PRO. Some areas as quick as 1 month where some regions won't appear until it's aired. I think the best I can do is have the tracks on tunesat or something, and to monitor at the same time on my PRO. I feel like this is where some mistakes could be made. There could be a possibility it gets aired and the track doesn't show on PRO? Then there's like that small time window to chase your PRO you mentioned. Already accepting the fact that some royalties could be missed in the future 😬

A Multi-Millionaire artist would be a Multi-Billionaire if royalties weren't missed :) Imagine the frustration !

I think the PRO's enjoy the billions they make in interest each year while they keep peoples money that's not theirs

To add on top of all that, BMI is still withholding the 30% tax despite the fact that I sent them my W-8BEN tax form to reduce the percentage and sent them tons of follow ups but they suddenly disappeared from the face of the earth. Before BMI being bought, they were more responsive and supportive. So, imagine I sent them the tax form several times and I keep getting the 30% every quarter. Have no clue what else to do.

Yes, we've all missed out on lots and lots of monies! And it is frustrating.

If a major PROs hold billions of dollars each quarter and generate 5% interest over the year some should be distributed to writers.

@@dailyexpresso8316 why?

@@SyncMyMusic Incentive for them to hold on to money as long as possible, years. It's not their money they earn interest on, its the writers.
