Just subscribed! I recently got two contracts completely RANDOMLY. Producers approached me. Didn’t know synch contracts even existed, didn’t know I could make money with just piano instrumental music... Now I’m looking to see how I can do this more often. This would be a nice dream job. Looking forward to learning from you

Suggestion on who to use if I care most about: ~1 album a month, Chinese market, game/commercial score, and user-generated apps that use music (TikTok, Smule, etc)?

This is nothing but God, I really just scrolled on your page. I'm a upcoming artist. But i have been putting in work for 7 years now. My question is I'm a singer and Songwriter, I have no skills in making beats. But I have experience in vocal producing and writing songs and Logic Pro x. So will I be able to place my music? I also live in the I.E and im in desperate need of a producer. Maybe we can link up.

Do i need to be with ascap or BMI if I’m already with the GEMA in Europe?
@SyncMyMusic5 жыл бұрын
If you plan on working directly with US Libraries, it might be advised to join ASCAP/BMI. Call GEMA and ask them what their policy is for joining the US PROs.

@@SyncMyMusic cool. right now I am mixing a song for my first time and I was planing on sending my mixed song to a company for them to master it and I was wandering if I had to respect the proper or accepted loudness before sending it to them or do you think it is up them fo fix the perfect loudness part? thank you so much

What's the name of the course that you did for researching clients (libraries/spvs)? Also do you do one one one consultations?
@SyncMyMusic5 жыл бұрын
I have a Music Library Directory syncmymusic.com/musicdirectory & Sync Edge (My personal Library Recommendations) syncedge.me . I don't currently offer 1 on 1 consultations.
@juanimewu14255 жыл бұрын
@@SyncMyMusic in a video you said you need to research who you work with and not just throw your music out aimlessly to make sure your clients are moving your music to clients proactively and not not just shelving your music in a cattle call catalog

Great content, had some placements myself and then it just stopped now I know why :O) What are your thoughts about Sync Agents been pitched by a few but they seem questionable
@SyncMyMusic4 жыл бұрын
I've come around to Sync Agents - I think the right one would be great for an artist or band that doesn't necessary want to focus 100% on Sync Licensing. I'm actually creating a new free course right now w/ Mark of Sync Summit to show an artist exactly how to work with the right kind of Agent.

Hey Jesse, definitely going to join Syndicate in the future but had a great question for you that some artist are also wondering. If you are an artist that leased a beat but doesnt have exclusive rights (but the contract says x amount of streams, video, etc) to the beat, if you get a placement for tv etc. can they try and take part of that money that you earn from this placement? Thanks, Mic
@SyncMyMusic5 жыл бұрын
In general, Libraries won't want tracks from you that you've already leased out. I would create NEW tracks that are specifically pitched to TV/Film Libraries - you'll just avoid that issue altogether.
@ReduceToAshesEnt5 жыл бұрын
@@SyncMyMusic so exclusives are necessary for music libraries. Thanks for the info!

@@ReduceToAshesEnt Not all of them, but yes a vast majority will ask for exclusive distribution rights.
