@God sees all!!! Oh really? I doubt anyone with a functioning brain and given the years after, will even stop to consider that Ford was a crook himself. That he would sign off the pardon to become President. Ford may have been wooden, stoic and lacklustre, but he was a thoroughly decent and honest man. It's strange, no, that you use God's name, but lack the things - God desires - love, mercy, forgiveness, peace and goodwill towards men?

Fords Chief of Staff, Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld decided that a more Conservative candidate should be VP, they chose Kansas Senator Bob Dole. Not sure if it helped or hurt the Ford ticket? He might have carried New York and other States had it been a Ford/Rockefeller 76 ticket? Interesting to think about.
