I got some expandable seal foam from Home Depot for mine and i have had absolutely no water coming in. I also installed mine by placing it according to Retraxone install instructions because their manuals are extremely detailed and this cover is basically a knock off. I also stood on it when it was on the rail to tighten it down while i was tightening it to the bed.

I’ll add to my comments. When I take the Mav through the carwash, a slight amount of water does get in by the tailgate. But not that much. It’s certainly not a major problem. For the $1,001 I spent on it, I’m very pleased with it. It’s a quality product that I expect to last the life of the truck. You can spend much more but I don’t think you’ll get a better cover.

My guess is the installer did it wrong. That seal isn't pre-attached.

I need to make a separate video. After having truck painted and buying new bed guards. The cover has proven to be actually good. I have no more leaks. This is actually a good bed cover for the price👍🏼🤘🏼

How is the noise when driving down the road? I say a couple people complaining about the crazy noise from the cover when driving. More weather stripping or some spray foam insulation, I know it’s sucks to have to provide additional material and sealing to the cover but if it fixes the issue.

I'd say grab some extra clamps and clamp it. Mine never rattled at all.

Why not caulk it with blavk caulk? Or weatherstrip underneath that lip. Cheap, easy fix.

I have the BakFlip Mx4 cover and it's awesome and doesn't leak, it's in 1,000 - 1,100 range but it's definitely nice.

Cheap rolling chinese cover, my $200 vinyl rollup cover is better waterproof than this and been in service 5 years now

Yeah but your cheap vinyl rollup cover can be quickly cut and give quick and quiet access to anyone wanting to steal your items inside of your truck bed.
