Interesting that clown loaches only spawn once a year. Those are my favorite fish.

HI, thanks, Clown Loaches in the wild breed twice a year, but in my hatchery, In have not been able to reproduce the spring cycle, I can do the Fall cycle no problem. Been at it for over 18 years with the clown loaches, so it make around 20-22 spawning, still not many to work with, I can breed an angelfish pair 20 time in one summer. That is what makes it frustrating and hard to work with. Will keep at it

Hi, I use sometime, but use mostly ovaprim, develop for salmon, works great. The multipunctatus when the conditions ( warm water) are right you don t need it, just regularly strip spawn by hand and eggs come out( small numbers) every week.

What about peackck bass, nice fish, love to work with them, but cannot have them on the farm here in Florida, illegal for me to work with, Florida law. Fish and Game officers came and took them away, and I got fined. plenty ofther fish I can work with.
