almost no one reviewing these things actually show the performance USING the sinology photos like you did. Good job!

Thank you kindly for your videos, you are doing an excellent job. I have a question - is there any Android box that supports both Apple AirPlay and Google Chromecast natively, without the need for third-party applications?
@clarkss124 ай бұрын
I can't answer that question because I don't have any Apple products. Thanks for the kind comments.

Great video Ronnie. This NAS app looks very impressive. I'd be interested to know what software you used to tag the photos that you scanned.

Thank you for the kind comment. It has been so long that I added tags to my scanned photos, I can't remember what app I used. I have used so many different photo apps hard to remember each one. I think I used an app called FotoAlbum Pro and it set the location. Not sure if it still is around. I guess it is still available. fototime-fotoalbum-pro.software.informer.com/ Out of curiosity, I had the receipt and installer from 2004, I installed it onto my Windows 11 PC and it appears to be working. That was a great photo app in it's day. It still should add any tags that you would want to add.

hey Ronnie great Video, i have a Google One Plan for Years now...of course i would love to move to the Synology Photos but im afraid of the migration process from Google Photos to Synology Photos... i hope all the Meta Data of the Pictures stored on my Google Account gets recognized by Synology... so not just Places or Faces but also the Date the Photo was shot and all in Chronological Order... thinking about getting two 20TB drive and a Synology Nas...so one for Daily use the second one as a Backup just in case...

Not to worry, all of the metadate stays with the Google download. Whatever metadata that was on the photo that got uploaded to the Google "cloud" stays with the photo. I have done it myself and all of the information stays with the photo or video. Date photo taken, device that took the photo, etc. You can do a test for yourself, by downloading all or some of your photos stored on the Google "cloud".
