Author of Dino Depot here, your server seems to be configured to prevent platform pickup when structures are built on the platform and the Barsboldia seems to be like the Oasisaur having some sort of default structure. With default settings Dino Depot would require you to confirm the capture, not outright block it. Your own player preferences may also be blocking pickup. I would recommend checking your settings and preferences for that :) If you need any help configuring or finding settings please don't hesitate to ask, I don't bite! :P

The Barsboldia's weight based damage is indeed determined by the actual number that it is encumbered by and not the percentage. It is worth noting that the cannon does not benefit from the weight modifier, but it does benefit from your damage stat (or at least I'm pretty sure it does, maybe it's just the Amar Berry buff that doesn't affect it). Overall, the Barsboldia was a pleasant surprise to see. I wasn't expecting it to be as cool and valuable as it actually ended up being.

Dino depot has a config that lets you ball Dino’s with structures on it. It will break the structures but barsboldia doesn’t have an issue it’s just weird for some reason.

I noticed that, even if you're not feeding Tintoberries specifically, the Barsboldia is healing per berry fed. It was working with the Azulberries, at least. Tintoberries probably increase passive healing on top of healing per feed.

You've got most of the really good mods already, but some other ones to consider are the Dracomorph mod, Tristan's Eocarcharia, Galvarex (this may be more suited toawrds Gensis though), the Bombardier Beetle, and the Sunken World Additions (some of the models are INSANE). Those mods are the the last of the extremely quality mods that I can think of. If you'd like an Indom Rex mod, then Moros Indomitable Duo. Ofc the rest of the ARK Additons creatures too. DarkEdgeTV Survival also covers a lot of the quality mods out there. One interesting mod worth checking out is "Additional Munitions" for more firearms. Cliifan's weapons mods are good too, but a bit cluttered.

Im pretty sure the cannon is weight based, and thats why it was doing so little to the dodo and so mych to rexes. The pt takes more damage to projectiles so that makes sense. But i think thats the case maybe. Cause the parasaur only took 650 damage with a direct hit

I can suggest the eocarcharia and silvatherium mod to you if you want some more cool and unique creatures. For the eocarcharia, it is like a meraxes but different, and the silvatherium is a taming creature, with thermal vision and it is really fast. Also the Paleo ark mod is released for ark ascended with new Giga and Rex models and stuff. (And you can take the giga into the tek cave)

i think what damaged the billboards was the rex. the paleo rex's stomp deals explosive type damage. so it can do damage to metal or even tek.

In my own experience, Cannons CAN still ruin taming effectiveness of Bludgeon-Knockout tames, but they need to hit a structure or the mesh after knocking out the creature to do so. So by using billboards that are sorter than the Barsboldia's head, the cannon ball was able to keep going instead of hitting it twice. Also, as far as creature mod reccomendations go, I can't reccomend the mod "No Untameables" enough. As the name says, rather than adding any new creatures, it focuses on overhauling existing creatures to make the untameable, tamable. You've got the obvious ones, like Meganeura, jellyfish, and Ammonite. But one that would be particularly great for this map is the Leedsicthys, which are ridable and have the ability to pick up and store several creatures in their mouths at once, letting you move them around to more convenient areas. Plus, tameable deathworms are going to be added soon that will be tameable if you do this style of "let's add a bunch of vanilla-style mods to community map series" with Ragnarok. And I can tell you from experience that those guys are fun as hell.

This thing is so fucking cool and a step in the right direction of ark pvp. Ark pvp should be based around siege dinos like an anky or this thing that can blow down doors and walls but they are super slow so tribes will have to walk the siege Dino to the base they are trying to raid while the defenders work on trying to slow down the siege Dino kind of like tf2 cart wars. Make it so cryos don’t work on siege creatures as well. PvP should be dinosaur focused not ascendant shotgun and c4 based. Imagine a tribe of 6 defending a ball ballsaur moving up a hill with it surrounded by gigas defending it while the defenders team pulls out their own defence dinosaurs like chali turrets, plant z’s, reapers hell maybe even dilos to slow down and push the Dino back it would be so much cooler than just having generic survival game pvp.

When he was trying to put it in the ball it looks like he had no balls to store it as the one on his bar was the version that has to be thrown to capture. Dino balls are weird they have two versions of the same ball. The icon changes form one big ball to 3 small balls and the Dino digitizer only works when the Dino balls are the 3 small balls icon I found from my experience with the mod
