Get an air bladder they’re super useful now, you can get an extra couple seconds of air and it can lift you up to the surface faster than a sea glide up to 200 meters and farm the gel sack and deep shroom so you can make advanced items a lot sooner

this is one of my favorite games ever!! I've never seen the starter pod spawn on top of the Giant Coral Tube - much less the coral tube being completely under ground! such cool terrain generation 8:01 small advice - if you hold a peeper, the stalkers will eat it instead of bite you

Heh. I went back. So....what happened to his seamoth is that he parked it at 199 meters depth and it was still moving, so clipped over into 201 probably. You can hear it creaking as he swims away, and it blows up at 57:17, just as he is looking an another time capsule.

Tip : Don't bother using or crafting a flashlight as once you get the seaglide it's useless, as the seaglide has it's own built in one that doesn't take a whole lot of power to use.

Always enjoy your vids Syntac ! Just a suggestion but keep a pair of peepers and bladderfish in a storage box somewhere until you build a containment unit because once you put a pair of them into it they will breed and you have a very easy food source.

Why would you breed peepers when you could breed reginalds? Bladderfish are literally the worst water option. Salt and corals are not hard to come by.

I'm playing it. It's initially good looking, but has about...oh....4 hours of playtime. And it's sadly made by a very small team, so a lot of stuff is still WIP and placeholders and might be quite a while till there's enough to do. Give it another six months to a year.

Just want to remind you, that Subnautica 2, will most likely be a sequel to Below zero, and as such will be as bad, bland, boring and poorly written as below zero. The best part of Below Zero, was unironnically, that they ported the new structures to the OG subnautica. If they somehow manage to keep real life politics out of the game, completely, then maybe the game wont flop like below zero. Below zero was on all counts, except buildings, a MISTAKE, and it should NEVER be considered Subnautica canon.

@aomforever Seems you didn't really look into the description of it or simply youtubers reactions and dissections of it - where we get told that it will be on *another* water planet/world similar to 4546b (from the looks of it). It is made in unreal engine 5 so the map will be even bigger than the original and by simply looking unreal engine 5 created stuff on the internet you ll see what they will be able to work with. Why are you hating on something that isn't even out yet damn lmao The devs arent robots so they most likely might ve seen 95% of the feedback .. or well - criticism more so , on below zero, they know not to make it similar to it I aint a white knight or anything i really disliked below zero to where i just didnt wanna finish it - but damn , surely hating on the devs will help 'em ?

Below zero was full of a bunch of woke BS. Ruined the whole game by taking away immersion in exchange for some woke hype. Every single humanoid character was black and/or female. Just waiting for a reply characterizing me as misogynistic and racist, but these woke characters are a marketing technique to draw in player bases from other ethnicities and genders. I’m tired of being forced to play as a black woman. The most minority minority. Spare me. Let me not know who I’m playing as. That’s what makes subnautica so amazingly immersive and such an enjoyable story. Not to mention most modern games have women doing shit that’s genetically impossible. A quick tip for later on. If you're getting attacked by a reaper hold a peeper in your hand to get a couple of seconds to swim away. Cause it will eat the peeper and not you, for now atleast😅. Sounds sketchy but it works

u may not see this, but you need to feed the reaper a peeper. just have it in ur hands when the reaper bites you it swims away after and then book it :) its like a subnautia tradition

Him parking so close to maximum depth was just an accident waiting to happen. After like 300 hours of playtime on Subnautica I know to give myself 5-10 meters of clearance since it can drift after exiting, and creatures can push it.
