The Lost Island Series is a Syntac Adventure on ARKs latest Map. In this series Syntac will tame, breed and mutate all of the new beasts that roam this ARK, the Amargasaurus, the Dinopithecus and the Sinomacrops with the hopes of facing the Dinopithecus King Boss and his minions!

Silly question prob but did you google that "error" msg along with name of game? Might find what u need quickly. Hope this helps at all...

This map is great, and my favorite part is definitely the amargasaur. I adore aggressive herbivores, and an aggressive sauropod is terrifying, I love it. It's also fantastic how wildcard didn't butcher this map, and kept in the DLC creatures

They even added many DLC creatures from genesis too! I love that there’s X-creatures and aberration and extinction all jumbled in. Makes the game feel more alive instead of seeing base game creatures in every map they make a free DLC.

Love the map. The scale of everything is so amazing. I have the same issue where too many of like 1 or 2 dinos spawn and can't find anything else. But otherwise love the new dinos. Love the inclusion of dlc dinos on a free map. And enjoy seeing you play through it

I love the map, it’s huge, the creatures are great, the sino for sure has quickly become a favorite. However my Ps5 has a hard time rendering in the textures which is highly annoying. I didn’t have this problem on any other map

Same with me, all the maps look so much better and have much better performances than on ps4, while this one is a big struggle. Hope they're going to fix this issue !

@@drouillotvalentin6476 They nerfed the free dlc maps due to size for consoles in the past due to performance issues but this always was at the expense of the PC user; perhaps they didn't do that this time? Valguero Abba Cave, water world was significantly bigger but got hugely shrunk for console comes to mind.

I’m not sure if anyone has noticed but whenever I play this map most grassland areas seem to just be drowning in stegos, I’ve seen them in huge groups of like 5-10 and all over the place

I think the map is really good looking and sinomocrops are amazing and interesting to tame. Im on ps4 and noticed some processor issues. Polygonal tames, especially on the dinoapithecus. Maybe they'll optimize it a bit more for console but yeah fun map. Looking forward to this series every day.

I absolutely love this map The jungles look way more like jungles instead of just forests The volcanic biome looks absolutely amazing and magmasaurs are a nice addition too The snow I haven’t really explored but i don’t like the mana’s being in there because those are a pain in the ass in pvp (which I luckily don’t play that much) The redwoods are nicely detailed and the dinophitecus feels like it is supposed to live there The desert is just a nice thing to have to get all the scorched earth stuff like cactus and mantis which are great for gathering So yea I really like it

The map is beautiful it reminds me of Ragnarok. The fact that all the engrams are available on the map is awesome. And the wide variety of dinos like griffins maewing manas just makes it even better.

That ice-crackling sound you heard was ambience for the snowy biome. There are also rock-crumbling noises in the volcanic area, wind-through-the-grass in the huge planes area, and water-drip noises in caves. I'm in the northern rainforests on my server at the moment, and I've also heard kookaburra noises and what sounds like distant dinosaur calls. I haven't been in the ocean yet, but I'd bet there might be new ambience noises down there, too. I'm loving the atmosphere in this map.

I love this map. It’s beautiful, has cool looking biomes, and combines a bunch of awesome DLC creatures into one! That’s my favorite thing about it honestly. We get to have so many unique creatures all at once.

Really loving Lost Island. Sino is hands down one of my favorite creatures that's been released. The map is huge which keeps things interesting, and there's alot of hidden gems for base spots. Only complaint I have is that the Dinopithecus really needs some love, just an overall wonky experience using them.

syn its been years and i thought you would figure it out by now but genuinely the way to use a spy glass on a creature and not be obstructed is just as easy as looking off to the side literlly just turn your creature sideways and look off in that direction towards what you wanna look at.

I freaking love this map! Beautiful bioms, all kinds of great tames from previous maps, not to mention imo one of the best creatures to be introduced to ark, the sinomacrops. The ruins are actually usable on this map unlike so many others... the list goes on. So many good things to say about lost island. The only thing that slightly bothers me at the moment is the arrow on the map is off compared to your actual location. I am sure that will be fixed in time so I'm not really too worried. In the meantime the GPS works just fine. Huge props to the people who made this map.

The Megalosaurus (donuts) can spawn up in the cliffs by Viking Bay on rag. Was playing with a friend and we running home, jumping on some rocks along the beach around the bay... Jumped on what we thought was a rock and had the absolute shit scared out of us. We tamed it and he named it Snooze.

Moving into the castle was such a pain tbh, i had my raft set up with tens of thousands of stacks of stone, wood, thatch and fiber, scouted the river to the castle with my wyvern and spotted a swamp blocking the way so i had to transport stuff from my raft and jungle temple camp all the way to the castle by foot and air. 5 trips with the wyvern and then the last one was with the amargasaurus on foot. Used those 2 to clear the whole area as well, now i have built the layout for a huge stables, a small farm for aesthetic and kibble purposes, wyvern landing platforms, greenhouse, breeding pen, house and some other things. Will be worth the effort

Syntac, to jump higher you can hold jump, like for him to see this and you can also jump and emidiatly smash thenground, it's faster and it's harder to hit you and stun your dinopith's attack.

From what I can gather, Dinopithicus have the large carnivore tag. This means that they're ignored by nearly everything except Rexes, Spinos, and the like. Those Sarcos at the start of the episode? You could have just swam right past them and they wouldn't have bothered you.

I really like this map. It’s nice to have the new creatures but I think my favourite part is the mostly intact castles. I started building in the redwood castle too and currently I’m making a bailey for it as my main house/ workshop

What you can do with your spy glass on the monkey is when u look at something face the monkey sideways and then spyglass what you wanna. I do that on almost every mount so I have clear vision

Lost Island is probably 2 best map in ARK,the first place goes to Ragnarok. I know that Genesis Part 2 map has everything, and it's huge that even it could have 150 people on PVP, but this map has a special charm like Ragnarok that focuses on lower tiers of weapons, and armor.

The Amargasaurus is definitely a rage and panic inducing beastie; but imo fills a niche spot for a highly aggressive yet ground based non carnivore in the snow biomes, a hazardous something more deadly than a mammoth and direwolves that makes it so you can’t just waltz in, kill lots of mammoths with a shottie, and get enough pelt for gear as a low level

Here's an idea for an amargasaurus taming pen. Have a centralized taming pen surrounded by smaller pens holding wild carnivorous dinos you pre-kitted. Then release one dino at a time and kill it in front of the trapped amarga.

FUN FACTS WITH THE MONKEY! - Most wild, aggressive and small creatures will not attack the Dinopithecus - The Ground slam attack can't damage creatures in the air - The Ground slam attack does more damage the closer you are to the creature - Using the Ground slam attack in the air does not increase damage - The Poop slows creatures down, does not knock them out of the air and applies a "Poison" status effect which damages the creature over time THAT WAS FUN FACTS WITH THE MONKEY!

This map is the best in dino diversity and black/silica pearls. Crystal Illes is the best for resources, an easy one being giant bee honey and pearls, with powerful easy to tame wyverns. Ragnarok is for high level dinos. The center is for bases ig. Valgurro is for its boss killer dino, world boss and ice wyvern trench. This is a generalisation of course, theres lots of stuff for each.

hey Syn :) in alll these yrs when using spyglass u insist on looking right in the face of whateva dino you're riding...tip..turn your side slightly, to what u wanna spyglass...i never have any issues spotting with spyglass ...hope it helps

I really like this map, it is definitely up there with the likes of Ragnarok and Crystal Isles (which is my favorite). The inclusion of creatures like Maewings and Magmasaurs are really cool, and the brand new creatures absolutely rock. I really wish they'd update the Center or Scorched Earth with some of these creatures, they really need the TLC.

Syntac, nothing small will aggro a dinopithecus. All the way up to carnos at least. That and the magmasaurs have a hard time seeing you on the walls. ;) The baboon is a cross between a thyla, megatherium, procoptodon, and chalicotherium.

There's another thing they really should add to all the DLC maps, the dossiers, the creatures exist there, an the dossiers have nothing to do with the story. Plus the map specific creatures that should have their dossiers. Would be nice to have a way to gain the xp buff. Love your vids man!

I think I can speak for a few people that this map is great. It does of course have a reference to Tamriel from elder scrolls but overall I think its a great map. The creatures are very awesome and unique and you can get alot of other stuff on this map. (like Maewings and Griffins)

This map is amazing. It has a full-on volcano, a desert biome with deathworms and many, many ruins to explore. The creatures aren't so amazing though. The Sinomacrops is the only very good one but the amargasaurus seems kind of useless and the monkey is WAY too buggy. If they fix the monkey at some point (I highly doubt about that) then it will probably become my favourite creature in this map.

in all honesty, I'm loving the map more than rag. idk what it is, but I think the way the biomes blend so much is a key part of it. BUT, I haven't seen the caves except the artifact of the immune at the volcano, so I'm not sure if it can outdo rag on that front.

Yo this reminded me that yesterday I killed a raptor with poop on a dinopithecus, then I ran past and I saw the level 112 and I’m like “woah I never find levels over 100” so I walked back and I couldn’t see it’s level anymore so I dismounted and then my dinopithecus literally ate the dead body and I’m just like “seriously?”

I'd say based on what I saw so far this map is amazing I do feel some area are lacking in the amount of dinos that are in that area but overall it seems like it will be as great if not greater then rag. I do agree with you Syntac that this map is great for adventuring. Being able to explore on a map of this calabur is just amazing gets me every time. Now obviously there are some biomes like the desert that we haven't seen yet unless people reading this are playing on this map and have seen it. But I think It will not disappoint. To be honest Syntac watching you over the years has me wanting to eventually start creating content on KZbin via playing games and what not. I hope you understand you have been an inspiration to so many people with your channel and how you go about your video and the commentary there is a reason your so popular when it comes to ark and even other games you showcase on your channel like man eater or the game you player with Jim Bob on the island and you have to battle some weird creatures and find a way off. I think it was called green hell? Oh are you still going to do any Ark survival of the Fittest videos. I always found thoes fascinating and the way you where so productive and knew what to do when and what time things had to be done by was so awesome and entertaining to watch. As I have mentioned many a time. I have been watching your content since vanilla wood sprinkles a bit before the flyer nerf. Man that was ages ago. You are the reason I am as good as I am at ark. Your taming videos and quality of life videos with S+ and thies massive bases have definitely helped me in game and also get through the years man. Syntac I figured out almost nothing attacks you while you are on the dinopithecus. Microraptor don't dismount you. Baryonyx don't stun you off. Carnos don't attack you. Kapros don't attack you. The monkey is very op
