@@MKDave-j1k no that makes little difference because of the percentage damage of the breath 5 breath attacks will kill anything no matter how much health they have, you have to have high melee to kill it before it can hit you 5 times with the breath. He got pretty unlucky the dragon breathed on pretty much his entire army right off the bat. Normally you can circle him and pin him before he breathes so only some of your rexes cop the breath.

Karma I hate to be that guy but realistically most of syntac’s strategy don’t work well for non super boosted servers or if you want to get 20 in all main stats

@@blizzard7122 Why would you play on servers without harvest boosts though? The game is grindy enough as it is, there is no need to go through the pain of official settings. Some people have lives that they want to attend to without waiting forever on a single tame or grinding up the materials to a single piece of equipment that you are going to loose during the next buggy/glitchy happenstance anyway. If vanilla Ark was enjoyable and stable by itself, it would be a different story. And Syntac really changes very little and it *still* takes him ages.

What I've done in the past is ridden the daeodon with the yuty following him on passive and ignore group whistles and fired shot gun shells from the back of the daeodon while also healing. It's a little more effective than having the daeodon attacking with the rexes.

Ahhhh reminds me of the very 1st time I did alpha dragon. Back when it was broken on the server I was playing on and it did triple the damage it was supposed too. Rip 19 bred rexes, 1 bred yuty, tons of mats into saddles, armor, weapons, ammo, myself, and my tribe mate. Feels bad. Congratulations on beating that dragon down.

I know exactly how it works. On official pve we have 25k base HP with 813 base Md. That's literally 10k more base HP and about 260 extra base Md than what syntac had. Obviously theris are the best

@@FoopahDestroyer mine are 24k and 750md and thats the best ive seen. definitly not saying your full of shit but having rexes that strong is not typical on most servers. these are my brand new rexes so strong most people think im full of shit until they hatch an egg lol. the typical boss rexes i see are about on par with syntacs. maybe 600 to 650 md. but the main issue still remains that rexes suck ass at dragon lol. i havent tried going full MD on 1 of mine yet so i dont know where they tip top out at but to make dragon easy i bed youd need around 2000 md. i still dont think hed be easy lol and by easy i mean being able to go in and lose 0 rexes. and if you know how dragon works then why havent you went to fight him lol?? im not trying to sound skeptical lol but calling dragon easy with rexes sure sounds either A cocky as fuck or B noobish. ive seen that attitude before lol usually right before somebody goes in and gets wiped by dragon xD which happens once a week on my server to somebody loll

So, a few tips if you are also doing this solo: -Go through the trouble of making a Theri army, much easier to move around the Arena, they can have tasty cakes -Put the pig on a separate group and have it always following you on passive and with healing turned on -Unlike Syntac, DO NOT FORGET TO DRINK YOUR SOUPS kids
