I just bought the game, and 80's is my favorite music, so I bought the 80's sidetrack DLC. I'm struggling on normal difficulty. Man you make it look so easy. Great job. 👍

Thank you! :) And welcome fellow Synth Rider :) Just give it time, you will be adjusting in time. Most start out on lower difficulties and practice their way up. I bet in a few months you play Master with no hassle as well :)

Btw - how do you make recordings like that? Do you record Synthriders 3rd person mode and yourself in front of a greenscreen and combine it with OBS? Is it hard to get the positioning right? Or is there a simpler way?

Oh it is more or less easy, just depends on for how long you play/have practice. Wasn't always easy for me, but I'm playing Synth Riders already for about 5 years, so most things, if mapped well, come just naturally. Give it time :)

@@Eightfinger I am on PCVR with an Index. I use "LIV" for Mixed Reality recording, that just literally puts you into the game according to position data so objects can be in front and behind you. It also has a "fake light" option, so when you look at my skin it changes colors depending on which color on my platform is lightened up or if I drive through my white walls. LIV has a configuration setup, where you hold your controllers on 3 different spots the programme tells you to, that way it knows your position and how to reflect the game around you. So yes you need for what i did above: PCVR, OBS, LIV, Greenscreen and A LOT of even light. And of course a cutting programme :)

@@Xoanon Oh that's awesome! Sounds like quite the Setup. LIV seems like a great tool, I'll check that out. I was wondering why your recording looked so much more "natural" than most others I have seen, but that explains it. Worth the effort! Thank you for explaining :)

@@Xoanon True, true. I'm playing for a few months now, and I can see the learningcurve happening quickly and steeply, so I can imagine it getting a LOT easier with time. Especially when repeating tracks a lot. Do you have a "top 5 of best mapped songs"? you'd recommend? I already found a few that are very well mapped, but I'm curious.
