Hello! I am currently synthesizing MNPs in a similar way. I am having trouble getting my NPs hydrodynamic size down to 50 nm. I have a few questions: 1) what is the time span that I should add the base? I did 10 and 20 minutes time intervals and notices a 100 nm decrease in size but it's still at 300 nm 2) Do you dry your particles? If so, why? I have noticed this in many literatures and I have also noticed that after a long period in water, the particles seem to degregate. 3) do you use an acid to dissolve the dried particles? Or just water? Sorry for the ton of questions but with all the papers I have read, I can't get the specifics that I need to get quality NPs.

hi sir. Do you need to use the temperature when stirring?
@WorldofNanotechnology5 жыл бұрын
No need of heating. Just do a constant stirring. Also it is important that addition of NH4OH should be slow.
