Can you select which step or note to edit in the sequencer with the black knob rather than touch screen? Looks a bit too difficult using your fingers.

I wish it had 8 sequences and 8 way split on the keyboard. I guess no further development is being done on it.

I really hope they keep working on the Quantum/Iridium line. It would be great to have that large storage capacity in the Iridium or the higher polyphony in the Quantum. Both units need smooth sound transitions between presets too, but the analog filters ruin that possibility for Quantum.

Great series, Thanks! Do you know if the mk2 has whats called "continuous sound" meaning if you change presets they don't cut each other off? The krog kronos for example has this feature. Thanks.

The MK II has the very same software running as the first edition. The Quantum does stop the sound with a program change.

It’s called “Smooth Sound Transition” on the Kronos. Can’t believe they didn’t include that sort of feature for the Quantum… would’ve really helped make it a live performance tool.

thanks again. so the parameter part of the sequencer, is that something you record in liven by moving the filter knob or something like that. or do you just draw a sequence with you finger an then sign it to a parameter? thanks again.

No, currently the Quantum does not support motion recording. You can draw the parameter sequences by hand or set every step separately with the display knobs. Then, every parameter sequence is like a normal modulation source (i.e. like a LFO) and can be assigned in the modulation matrix.

3:29 can the parameter sequences be different lengths from the main sequence?

No, that's not possible :( But multi sequences would be nice, that's right...

How did you assign let’s say the filter to parameter 1 in the sequencer ?
