I wear short pixie synthetics and honestly they’re simple. No frizz or need for steam even after months of wear! I think they look realistic and beautiful too.

I have only bought one wig and that was years ago, so I know almost nothing about them, and that purchase was a disaster because of my ignorance. Thank you so much, I was very frustrated last week with my choice in wigs. But listening to this has helped me understand what I need to do. My long heat resistant wig was getting all frizzy and dry looking like you mentioned. Now I know to straighten my wig every wear and maybe just stay away from long wigs lol

Thank You for this very informative lesson! I wish I would have known sooner. As a newbie I had a topper that started to get very frizzy at the ends. At the time I didn’t know I could add heat to make it look better. I started cutting the frizz out and no longer use that topper. I purchased heat friendly wigs by RW. I know better now!❤️❤️❤️😘😘

The Hot Tools air brush can be used on non-HF synthetic fibers, on low heat setting. Recommended by many wig stores to take and curl bangs. The important thing is to keep the brush moving.

An online wig company that I purchased from recently told me that synthetic only lasts 3-4 months of wear. Hearing this is really frustrating considering my last purchase was in June, and my wig is fraying at the lace and not looking great. Also, I do not even wear it daily and when I do, it is for short periods. That piece is heat friendly, and although I have followed tutorials of fixing the frizzy ends with heat, that is not even working well. 😞

Human hair definitely comes with a price tag. My favourite synthetics are Raquel Welch, Ellen Wille, Jon Renau, and Belle Tress. :)

No, not really. If you find it is for you, spritz with a little water!

The only way to truly get rid of the frizz is with heat. No product will really take that away. :(
