He wouldn't allow a small market team like OKC, Minnesota and Memphis to pick him. From what digging I could find, people thought Curry was better than Rubio and Flynn the moment Minnesota passed up on him, not in hindsight, and ppl think Minnesota made a dumb choice, but it was the same situation as Markelle Fultz and Lonzo.
