This 1959 Caddy is amazing using all 100% synthetic amsoil motor oil, transmission fluid, brake fluid, and now power steering Fluid. The wheel bearing grease video is great as well. Yes. Looked through a few. Any work you do on the ‘59 gets my attention because the engine compartment is so similar. I need to take apart my wiper motor and replace the heater core. I put in an electronic ignition and it finally runs as it should. Great cars to drive and gets a lot of looks! Enjoy Vegas, great community down there. ✌️from SF.

99% sure your steering wheel is upside down. The horn ring should be on the bottom and the dark colored section of the wheel is your preferred hand placement. Keep up the good work - I enjoy your videos!

Thanks Scott I'm really not sure I do know that it's cracked in the bottom part I believe broke off. I think that Chrome Ring went all the way around when it was new there may be different steering wheels on different models or different so-called options for that year. I'm going to have that piece of chrome glued for now and then I'll eventually get a new Chrome piece. Thanks for being a part of my KZbin channel really appreciate you!

I use Amsoil Supershift ATF for my power steering pump. Its a type F fluid with no friction modifiers which Ford calls for.

Atf in power steering will work since it's a hydraulic fluid but the friction modifiers are not good for the spool valves in the steering racks of other vehicles. Fine for steering gears though

Yes they were grandfathered in back then where you don't have to have one however I'm going to get six seatbelts put in

I'm going to. Also the plugs wires timing tune k & N filter break pads rear main seal. Port polish OEM heads. Push rods valve springs roller Rockers & hardware in valve train. Let's see if we can hit 18MPG & 300RWHP & 400RWTQ on Basic plug & play parts that can be put back to Factory at any time 😉
