I Put in signature series 5W-30 100% synthetic motor oil after I did the motor flush of all the junk that was in the motor

Synthetic Oil Protection I just sent the wrong oil filter the distribution center in Columbus Ohio and exchanging it for the ea15k29 oil filter through Amsoil

Do you think you could do the trans change without a vehicle lift - would there be enough clearance if supported on axle stands and ramps? Second - what type of pump and 90 degree attachment did you use? Third - I have heard that you need to bring the trans up to a specified temperature when filling - is this correct?

These are all great questions I highly recommend getting the trans adapter kit there is a kit that they make that has all the thread and attachments for that little straw I would just go get that in that way you're not trying to find out which one it is I personally don't know exactly what it is yes you do want to have the transmission warm when you do the final top off the fluid expands and you always want to keep the drain bolt off until it's up to operating temperature then cap it off because if you put it in when it's super cold you can overfill the transmission. You do not need a ramp or a lift you can do it on the ground on jack stands it's just a little more dangerous and time-consuming and messy. Unfortunately the O'Reilly's I went to didn't have it. I will be changing the filter early at about 3,000 miles because it's the first Amsoil motor oil change. I like to do that to get some of the residual contaminants out of the engine.

One last thing. I've heard you're supposed to change the oil in the oil cooler as well when you do an xkr oil change. Would you have a video on that by chance? Thanks

That miniscule one quart will not hurt anything if you leave it in. I have not seen how to do that. Basically if you had a 16-oz bottle of flush and you left one quart in out of a 10-q sump you'd be basically leaving 1.6 oz of flush in 10 new quarts of oil which is insignificant it wouldn't hurt anything. What motor oil do you recommend for a 2003 Porsche 911 turbo? I'm currently running Mobil 1 0-40 European. The car makes over 900 hp at the crank, so maybe something more performance oriented. Thanks!
