Excellent couple of video's and a great help to a novice such as I. Made me want to buy the gear now.

This was a very good course although a lot to remember and get use to. It seem very good, i suppose once i get thru it. i am new at this and it seems it will take a while. The 2 courses helped a lot I will have to watch them again.

Glad you enjoyed. I think the best way to remember most of this is to actually write some music using the library. You'll find your way around the interface in no time.

Your mini-course really helped me a lot! Thank you! So clear and detailed. I was trying to figure out why some patches couldn't do "endless sustain" when adjusted in the ADSR, but that might be because some samples just won't do that. Please let me know, if you see this. Cheers!

Wondering if you have experience with getting back deleted files. Have about ten missing if I reload samples would I get duplicates or just updated with deleted sounds regained. Glad i found this because IK website support is a jumbled mess. Any info or links would be great spent lots of time on their site with nothing.

Not with Syntronik, but I did have that experience with Keyscape. I reloaded and everything was fine. I'd say the list of sounds that you're getting is nothing but a pointer to an actual sample. If you delete a user programmed preset, it'll disappear next time you launch Syntronik. If you deleted a factory sample, then the list would still show the name, but it won't load. At least that's how I think it would go.

Hmmm. I don`t understand how i can Remove a layer. I stacked 4 and want to take one away or use only one. what do i do?
@InTheMixReviews7 жыл бұрын
Hi Dean...What is exactly you're trying to remove here. The whole LAYER, or just one of the parts within a LAYER?

I'm losing my mind on the arpeggiator. whatever I do, I can't get rid of it. This product which I'm trying for free is becoming a clear no-go because of this. Which is a shame but I otherwise like it very much... Found nothing on the user manual... Could it be a bug ?
@InTheMixReviews6 жыл бұрын
You can't stop the arp from running? Did you see how I was managing it in the video? I don't think it's a bug because it's pretty much like the full version with less instruments. Yeah it's a very good sounding instrument. Very playable indeed!

You just have to do some keyword searches and get to know the sounds you're interested in....and save them as your user presets...etc.

why does syntronik crash every time i try to save a patch? explain how the library actually works might help? like...what is sample tank, what disk path, do i need to buy sample tank just to save patches??....stand alone, full version.
@InTheMixReviews4 жыл бұрын
Not sure what you mean by "Explain how the library actually works". I have 2 videos that go over every single feature!!! Sample-tank has nothing to do with Syntronik. They're two different libraries, however, you can load Syntronik sounds into Sample Tank if that's what you want to do. I've never done it myself. Also, I've never experienced preset saving related crashes. For that you might want to get in touch with IK's tech department.

@@InTheMixReviews thanks but you don't actually explain the library settings at all...you just show the window in settings and then move on real quick...i mean...which folder?...where?....so sure...i'll try tech...thanks, & stay well.

@Rattled Edge - some Mike Ratledge solos Like I said, everything is explained in details. Everything else in terms of folder locations are nothing but user preference stuff. In other words, they're Generic decisions that a user makes for optimizing a library from any developer. Every user has a different computer with different hardware. If you're having issues with those things, that would be a whole different video. IK is pretty helpful. Hopefully they'll help you configure setting that suit your computer.

@@InTheMixReviews well yes, if one has followed available information thru manual and online - which is scant I might add, and if your software still crashes every single time then one does tend to question if one is an idiot. I don't think I am an idiot with over 30 years of software sound use...and I will go to tech of course....I just spotted your vid and thought you might add to my undoubted fog of misunderstanding...and I wanted to point out, and I would still point out, that in the video you actually don't "explain" how the library works, it's structure and form...at all. Thank you for your time, sorry to bug y'...
