Hey guys, here's the Synyster Gates Master Class!
Part 2
I had my camera set up behind the other film crew that was there.
I don't think they really liked it, also, they were giving me a 10 sec eta, haha. (Also standing in front of the camera a lot) ;o, could have been an accident, though. My apologies, I didn't have much time to set up the camera in a good spot. However, I brought my GoPro and recorded what I could just in case something like this happened. ;)
I'll be uploading the next parts in a bit. Probably 1 a day or so.
Hope you guys enjoy it!! I'll also be uploading other recordings I made while I was in Hollywood with the other contestants.

+rock azhell I know it's late but AMEN bro seriously hammett gets more credit than he deserves wah pedal can sound cool for maybe a song here and there but when you use that with a neck pickup you're just making your guitar really...can't quite think of the word to use but it makes playing solos easy because you can miss a load of notes and to most people it sounds no worse than someone like Syn. Plus, it gets old to hear that wah sound every solo on every song on every album but go figure other bands think that 'if metallica uses it, it must be good right?' No it doesn't make it good just because they do it because it's just copying at this point. ONLY TAKE CERTAIN INFLUENCES FROM OTHERS AND BLEND IT INTO YOUR OWN STYLE DON'T BE METALLICA 2.0 BE *INSERT BAND NAME* 1.0

I the the whole band will go down in Rock n Roll history, but it's gonna take some time. Come back in about 20-30 years and they may find their names on a plaque. Until then, just keep rocking out.

Can someone please help: How can I transcribe chords and scales that would normally be played in standard to Drop D? I am struggling abit

Everything's the exact same but the all the notes and shapes would be a step lower on the E string, since it's tuned to D. Personally I wouldn't even play scales or improvise using the 6th string in Drop D because transposing on the fly isn't easy.
