Fortnite Just Banned Clix.

Clix has been banned from Fortnite competitive for 2 weeks, which will cause him to miss the next 4 months of FNCS competition. I know its funny timing with the last video but this is important to address, I have a lot of thoughts about this topic

i'm so happy to se other streamers react to the situation. People say he should of left the match but if he did it would have ruined his tourney and the streamsniper would see that as of no concequence for him. Steamsniping in tourney should automaticly end up in permaban.

You right people shouldn't stream snipe and don't wanna post tournaments but lots of streamer adds a delay when it comes time to these tournaments events just increase the delay yes it will suck for the interaction with your viewers but it's a solution. But a 2 week ban is a little expensive and the other player that did the sniping should have a permanent ban

Something what you didnt mention is that the streamsniper wasnt even playing on his main account and he only got banned on this additional one, so realisticly he got no punishment. Plus you need to remember that this solo tournament is region locked and this streamsniper was playing another region on another account, which is simply breaking the rules. That means he not only streamsniped during the tournament, but also played this tournament illegaly.

I just want to add, Epic “may believe” Clix has acting about not knowing the “stream sniper” so believing they both were in on helping him gave both of them the same ban. I believe Epic is wrong on this one. I won’t be watching FNCS without Clix.

No , When you are live streaming to 15k viewers you can’t run a 10-20 minute delay because it fucks up your stream so bad . AussieAntics talked about this and said that you can’t properly respond to donations, can’t communicate with the chat properly and the stream is scuffed overall which is against what streaming is what all about . If you can’t communicate properly with the people watching you and donating you then what’s really the point of streaming

He is only banned for 14d but the thing is that if your ban is 2 weeks or longer you cannot really compete in this FNCS and the next FNCS meaning he can't attend the LAN Event in Copenhagen, Denmark which means one of his ways of income has totally been cut off, Cented needs to find a new teammate mid-season

Epic has a history with listening to the fortnite community. Although they do it really well, they also do it worse than a lot of games. They banned clix (one of the main things thats keeping fortnite so popular) for what they called "teaming". First of all he didnt do it on purpose and second of all he doesnt deserve the ban. Fortnite banned him to make it more "fair" for the community and for the future events. Yet everyone who are actually playing these events WANTS clix to get unbanned. Why ban him with no real excuse?

I don’t agree with such a lengthy ban but people need to stop putting every streamer on a pedestal and using the ‘it’s their job’ excuse. Streamer culture has ruined multiplayer gaming for a lot of people and the guy is sitting on a lot of cash as it is. I’d be more sympathetic if some of these guys put more effort into a job that actually contributes to society. Epic Games and every other major developer will survive just fine without ‘influencers’ and ‘streamers’. He makes enough money as it is from KZbin revenue.
