Ark: Small Cosy House - How To Build

This is a simple house build with a small area to the side for a couple of tames. this build is for those who want to build a house as a starter base, the stone could be switched out for wood if you are not high enough level for stone structures or who prefer the look of all wood.

The video doesn't show some corner pillars. At 7:25, two additional pillars appear at the wall intersections at the back of the base. Took me forever to figure out how to add those.

If you are playing on official or official settings then place the pillars before placing the walls, otherwise go into you're setting at the main menu and then go to general settings and tick the box with structure collision

I found out there's two triangle ceiling pieces. The triangle *ceiling* (flat horizontal) and the triangle *roof* (angled like the slopped roof variant). Not Ark's most transparent naming convention.

Doing this on ps4 is SUPER tricky. Everything I try to do dosen't work properly unless I play around with it for a couple of minutes. But it's still pretty cool and I really enjoy the base

You could either build this without the pointy roof or you could watch aaron longstaffs nordic house and do the method that he uses for the roof so its buildable on official. I apologise for the inconvenience i wasn't aware of how official worked with clipping but ive taken it into account since i know that there is alot of official players out there so alot of my other houses are able to be built on official

Thankyou. For this build you need to use ramps for the pointed part of the roof not actual roof peices and you need clipping enabled
