Ark: Castle Keep - Speed Build

This is my ark survival evolved how to build on a castle keep and is the first of a few builds I will be doing on the structures that make up a castle. this build is sped up a bit to keep the video within a reasonable time frame, if the video is too fast then you can slow It down on youtube if needed. id like to here your feedback and know what part of a castle I should build next.

So, definitely not hating as I LOVE the castle, it's such a cool design... but for anyone trying to replicate this make sure you pay CAREFUL attention to what he does here, because he does skip steps and some things aren't shown in the video. Also of note, there isn't any organic access to the second story of the castle, so you'll need to figure that out yourself, and you'll have to fix a few of the areas because of his own designs, and lastly it pays to watch the video multiple times as sometimes he'll go back and revise stuff. Again, not hating on the video, on Sypher, or the build, but there are flaws that anyone attempting this build need to know about. Especially those who don't have access to creative mode or boosted resource farming and taming!

At 3:50 you placed the stone ceiling half way in, confused at how you did this.

Yeah, just posted this, too. I did some quick research and found out that you have to check the "disable structure placement collision" in the general tab right before you go into your world. That allows you to clip things that you normally couldn't together.

How do you make the ceilings slice through the outer wall when you already have ceilings on the other side. I tried following this and every time I try it says it’s obstructed.

I love the build, but following this was difficult, there where times when you restarted the video, and you had built some of the build without it being recorded... it is a good build, and I did manage to do this, but with my own adjustments. I don't know if this was intended, but you had forgotten to show how you get to the ground floor

If your dedicated to building this then this takes at least a day and couple of hours to build it will be easier if you have a doedicorious(stone gatherer)the moose Dino(thatch gatherer)and a beaver Dino (wood gatherer)use a quetzal to get off of it and place builds down without the bird moving when you dismount.A griffin can back up while in flight mode and is very fast too

So here the thing, whenever I'm building anything, I need to press the button again and again in order to put building stuff(foundations, walls etc). So is there no way to make it so that they would automatically keep on coming without us needing to manually press the button to summon them?

I'm pretty sure a lot of it could be done. It's what Neebs Gaming did with their library base on the Ragnarok map. I used the same technique when I copied their design on my own game.

If you are playing on official then you are going to run into some clipping problems but if not then go into general settings and go down until you see an option that says 'disable structure placement collision' and press it

I think you might have to place the upper walls after you place the ceilings if you're on official

I can't for the life of me figure out how to get the stone walls to clip into the stone walls. It just says it's obstructed. Is there a mod you are using or am I doing something wrong?

There is a way to turn off obstructions so it doesn't happen.

Yeah, that's why i built it two walls up before doing the floor, laying out the pillars instead of foundations will work well especially when the ground isn't flat
