I think all the batteries for the most part been very good , going with 2 batteries will always be substantially cheaper because of higher supply and demands

I'm running into an issue of not finding many hard case 6s batteries. Are there any mods you can do to project the soft packs more when bashing? I've seen people putting yoga mat foam padding in the tray and guess you could put a piece on top, under the straps. I'm not sure if this would cause heat issues with the battery though. Thoughts?

Soft packs are great until you eject them out of the RC and usually it's getting as far away from anything flammable as quickly as possible

This may be a dumb question, but are these "Smart" Lipos? I would like to try these but I still have an older lipo charger without the smart technology. I've been away from the hobby for a few years and haven't kept up with the latest advances in the battery tech. Thanks in advance!
