Never seen the supermodifieds on the Syracuse mile. They seemed to have handled really well on that track. I'm impressed.

I’m going to Oswego tomorrow night 6/8/2024. Joe 00 Gosek is going to be racing. 68 years old. Pretty excited to see him run.

This looks like an experiment to see in these cars could race in a mile dirt track.

This was (I believe) the last time supers ever raced at the mile. The crash in particular demonstrated they weren't safe and designed for either dirt or a track that big. Heck, it used to be terrifying to watch them on Phoenix! Supers belong on asphalt tracks under a mile in length unfortunately.

They actually ran the supers and sprint car together the sprint cars kicked butt but the next year they made the sprint cars run without wings and that's when Randy Wolf got hurt real bad believe he broke his back !

Never knew about the copper classic but when i watched it on KZbin i was like WTF! Ive seen supers at thompson and a few other tracks, but they must have been doing 190 at Phoenix! Crazy, saw a bad crash in one of the videos too. I agree, under a mile for them

One of the major mistakes, one of the announcers made was saying that, drafting isn’t a thing there. 😶 … 🤭🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 oh quite contrary monsignor. Drafting is very much a thing there! Well, at least it was at one point in time😢

I dont get oval racing😅 i dont even get where which guy is and who is lapping who... Seems like utter Chaos in comparison to Formula Sports, the differences in Track Layout makes it easyier to identify locations

It’s easy to follow if you’re at the track because you can see the entire track. Imagine watching an F1 race from a helicopter where you can see the entire track. When the leader finally catches up to the rear of the pack, you’d know it because you’ve been watching him pull away from the rest of the field.....does that make sense what I’m trying to say? Also, the speed difference between the leaders and the lapped cars is so large that it’s obvious who’s getting lapped. Oval track racing is great because not only is there more action than road courses (because there’s more passing), but also because you can see every pass, every wreck, every spin out, etc.

Considering how uncompetitive F1 is, it's not shocking this is difficult to follow...
