took me 2 hours. the trick is to save up all the smoke bombs & C4, when you get to the door where ghost saves you, kill the first shadow on the right, and run into that building and plant c4 in both entrances and they will all run to you.

A little tip on the last part of this just before you hit the tunnels: I was getting my ass handed to me because of how my checkpoint saved. Once you get under that truck, you trigger a checkpoint save. So don't dive under there if you're around a bunch of guys. Secondly, if you're having a hard time make your way to the building behind and to the right of the truck (if you're under it and facing the front). It's the room the OP runs in to at the 34:00 mark in the video. Use bottles to distract enemies and make it there stealthily. Hopefully you at least have 2 mines and your shotgun. Craft what you need and then place mines just outside the door to this little room (make sure the blast doesn't hurt you) and then lure guards to come. As soon as you can, grab one of their shotguns instead of the double barrel (if you don't already have one), and just rinse and repeat until you thin the herd enough. I was able to kill all but 3 guards that were patrolling the water. Eventually, you'll be able to grab all their ammo and make your way to the building where the red flares are. Go upstairs and craft the Molotov to trigger another checkpoint (I think?). Either way, no one will come up so just throw more bombs and/Molotovs from the balcony on the second floor to kill the remaining enemies. Throwing knives work well too if you have any. This level was so time consuming and horrendous (I hate dying repeatedly, and I HATE stealth missions in FPS games like COD. Excluding sniper missions, of course) so I don't feel bad for taking the cowardly approach here. Hope this helps someone.

I managed to blunder through this on Hardened; got killed a lot and basically did it in segments. It's a pretty decent simulation of what it would be like to be completely vulnerable while dozens of mercs in armor hunt you down but I never really figured out the bad guys' patrol patterns or how to stealth through it. Plus, I was hopeless at the geography of the town; never knew WTF I was going, really. Had a hard time finding the knife; in fact I didn't. Ultimately is a little odd that the best way to get through a "stealth" mission is to get a shotgun and a pistol and then find a spot where you can pick them off as they come at you. It's a combination of that and running like mad while hoping for the best. I like the campaign and I even admire this mission -- I think -- but I will not play it (the mission) again, life's too short. Still, I feel a certain sense of accomplishment at getting through it.

To anyone who hasn't finished the mission: When you're swimming at the tunnels, get around the cars and while swimming underwater takedown the heavy armored Shadows. You don't have to waste a single bullet. You don't risk dying AND it's usually faster. Teheh!

Just completed this on Realism, when you're making a run at the church, just craft a lot of smoke and molotovs, and collect ar and ammo after killing the armored shadows at the tunnel, there I use the crossbow to instakill 3 enemies, and the last one using shotgun by distracting him with a bottle, after that when running at the church don't fight, just smoke it and if there are enemies obstructing your way use the molotovs, if you ran out use the M4 you collected. And dump an entire mag onto the enemy

Now, for the fountain part, distract the enemy on the right with bottle, after that enter the store/bar on the left, collect materials there, go outside the door at the back, there should be enemy on the left, now the spot of the knife can be in 2 separate places, distract that enemy with a bottle and search for a body sitting with a knife stabbed on his shoulders, kill the enemy that you saw after exiting out the back door, then distract the enemy near the fountain with a bottle and kill, for the squad that appears before the place you get a stim, or the door with the shotgun tripwire, craft two explosive traps, place one near the trashcan, and one around the corner, throw a bottle at the one near the trashcan, and it should kill one enemy, after that shoot to draw the shadows to your position, and the explosives around the corner should explode and kill 2 men at once now you're done 👍

This is why this was one of my favorite missions by far. I did it on regular and didn’t die once. All you have to do it pay attention to what hits they give you. Distract enemies by throwing bottles. Use bottles to pull enemies away from others so you can silently kill them with your knife. It was an absolute blast to slow down and plan my moves in this mission
