The house was moving and the glass was shattering from the intensity of the shelling. The only person smiling was my father. He gave me some safety and comfort. Smart dad. Trying to protect it's kid psychological health. It works only to a limit. You can't do the same right now in Gaza. The point the father is trying to make - For his daughter to not live in fear. She is too young to learn about death. To her, the bomb is just an explosion similar to a firework. The father is teacher her laugh at it so she doesn’t live in fear. She isn’t a psychopath and the father is incredible.
