I like to us either chicken stock, chicken broth, chicken bone broth or the water used to boil chicken instead of plain water. My Sito made her rice that way. Sometimes she would brown pine nuts and add it to the boiling rice mixture.

You don’t cover the pan while it cooks? Maybe that’s why I failed when I tried to make it in the past. 😄

for this amount not really.. you're trying to let the moisture escape
