Syrians living all over the world should return to Syria now and help rebuild it back into a great country
@alisongreen757612 күн бұрын
Except that a lot of the people who fled are not ethnic Syrians, they are Palestinians- or the descendants of Palestinians, who migrated into Syria back in 1948, to avoid the first Arab attack on Israel. Or one of the multiple wars that have attempted to destroy Isreal since. They were “second class citizens” in Syria under Assad- largely living in refugee camps and supported by UNRWA- the largest being Yarmouk- which Assad besieged and destroyed. He displaced about 500k Palestinians within Syria, with about 125k leaving the country. Now, this is where it gets messy, because the Palestinians in Syria were anti-Assad- which is why he attacked them, but Hezbollah, backed by Iran and Russia, sided WITH Assad. So we have Hezbollah in South Lebanon claiming to support Palestinians by attacking Israel, but cheerfully slaughtering them in Syria- while the “Lefties” turned a blind eye (because it wasn’t Jews doing it). Which kinda makes you think that Hezbollah are not really interested in the rights of Palestinians at all, doesn’t it? That maybe it’s all about any excuse for Iran (backed by Russia) to attack Israel?

Stand by for more Syrians fleeing...I mean leaving to visit relatives here for a decades long holiday.

Exactly how many Countries that offer asylum did they come through to get to the UK? I would be so ashamed to leave my country as a military aged male when it needed me the most.

I don't want to guess what's gonna happen next too soon, but for now, all I want to say is that seeing them being happy makes me happy too. Congratulations and best of luck!!

Firstly, why do they say "we did this", when they are speaking from here and did nothing personally for their own country to make it free, secondly, why are they saying "we have a better future in our country", when none of those "we" will ever live in their country in the future. They are talking as if they helped but didnt, and as if their lives will now be better there when they live here, ffs. I bet if a poll was taken are they going home, 99.9% would say no.

Their fate awaits them, just like the people of Libya and Iraq. These same people are going to be saying a different narrative a few years from now. May Allah protect them.
