No, I don't "hate" my car ( for the slow ones who don't understand the type of video this is)... Wouldn't trade this car for any other and would buy it again. This just a video for content and me stating some pet-peeves. Which everyone has with their own car. The 5 things I dislike videos are challenge videos Content Creators do (and they're a lot; how y'all have only seen mine is mind blowing), but obviously most of you don't know this so I'm enlightening you all. Just use common sense. I wouldn't seriously buy a car without knowing what it comes with. You're welcome!~ Watch my other videos and subscribe and you will see just how much I love all of my cars.

I have the Focus ST3 with the leather Recaro seats and the way I get in is to back in and then sit down with my left leg on the left side of the bolster and my right leg on the right side of the bolster. Then I swing my leg over the bolster and turn straight in my seat. Then I don't have to try to slide in sideways and rub the seat/bolster and risk wearing out the seat. To me this is the way the seats were meant to enter. If you look at the seat between the side bolster and the back of the seat there is a low spot that is perfect for you left leg (or your right leg on the passenger side). At least that is the way my wife and I get in ... Enjoy your car it looks great!

To help maintain/preserve the bolster, from driver side I as practice in my SI, as I sit down, I lift my right knee up then after sitting down on seat, I then raise both legs up and over into car; thus sitting over the bolster but not on it. Likewise as passenger on right side, as sitting down I lift left leg/knee up then up and over into car after sitting down. Of course you could just as easily like my nefew did unlike anyon else, just step into the car positoning yourself over seat above seat passing over the bolster and then sit down into seat. The reason for lifting legs up after you sit down int sit while legs ar up off bolster is to tap your shoes hells or shoes to gather as to shake off any pebbles or debri off them as to not or at least decrease as much dirt onto floor of car. Yea as for the ever anticpated tunes we would love to enjoy, I asked a dealer's service agent for the record only to be told, wait til after the warranty to mod it. Of course its seems contraversial that even after a tune in theory, one could either change the setting or worse reset everything back again. So looks like those of us may very well may want to wait it out til the 3 years are up to make our move to perform any tunes. However, it seems there are other safe mods we could do such as swap out inlet, intercooler, downpipe and muffler at least to get a little power gains here and there. As for tires, I may switch to the Michelin sport 4S? which have better/higher review ranking #'s overall against pirelli and even the contacts and still are 20" at least per Tires.com. I want to stay witht eh 20 to enjoy using th estock rims which was one of my attractions to them with their red lip( I had been looking for such even before the Type R for my SI, but couldn't finad any as good looking as on the R. 2nd as from learning off "engineering explained" U-tuber, a bigger diameter can offer more ground coverage thus faster times on such as on a track. Cheers and thanks for sharing you type R with us.

@@xSyrious thanks Syrus, over this weekend, to recap I realize its a little trickier for right side front passenger to enter car; either you have to brace yourself on dash, seat(either bottom of seat or one of the if not the right opening on seat back) or door frame. I found I almost fell into seat compared to driverside where I always brace myself on steering wheel. I showed my niece this last Saturday and she managed fairly well. I also realize it could help yet may add a litle weight, but if there was an overhead handle in door entry like there is in my 08 SI, then people could help themselves with added support albeit hanging from doorway. My point and wish for them is to help both respect the car(and me), the interior and help maintain/preserve it a much as possible to enjoy it with me now and into future.

Syrus, what&s up man? Subscribed to your channel probably bout a week or so ago. I should have my "Black" CTR in April of this year. I'm out here in Japan where we don't really have FK8s yet. It's a unicorn for the most part out here. I plan on blogging about the build as soon as I get it. Got a room full of parts from floor to ceiling ready to go. Would love to exchange notes with you if you are up for it. So yeah....quick comment about the video. I don't think the Japanese version of the car is going to have that infotainment unit. TBH, I'm not sure how I'm going to be able to access a lot of things because the navigation system comes from a Japanese maker. I think I went with Panasonic. With that said, I may not have a volume knob but I most certainly will have volume buttons to mash. I blast music and bass so I kind of like it that nobody else can turn a volume knob either because there isn't one. Your ride looks great btw. Again, would love to exchange notes. MY biggest issue with the Type R is those fake vents near the fog lights. I'm looking to fabricate a mesh grille or grilles so I can keep the fog lights. I need air flow there so I can install an oil cooler from Greddy or HKS. Living in Japan, it's a 9-month wait from the day you sign papers. I've used the time wisely preparing everything. If you like, hit me up, or take a look at my KZbin channel. You'll find a couple of raw generic videos as I've been preparing for an instant transformation of the car.

Hey Man, i take no offense to your personal dislikes on the car, but I think i can help you (at least ease the pain) on the climate. For the AC Control, just push the auto button to turn on the AC and rotate the dial. Yes it will be changing the temperature but it will also be changing the fan speed. Something that makes it easier instead of having to go to the climate buttong (which I hate as well). Doesnt fix the issue with the design, but makes it less irksome. The passenger doens't have to tap the volume button over and over again, they can simply scroll with their finger on the touch screen. Something that will help the passanger only. For us the driver the button on the steering wheel is simply easier.

For the volume, the "Jammin" approach is not necessary. I understand its an opinionated video but do not limit the public on knowledge of other ways to utilize a specific feature of the car. If you simply do not like either way then state that but if you do not know how to operate the vehicle then that operator error my friend. FYI ALL TYPE R AND SI OWNERS/LEASERS, you can simply swipe in an upward motion from minus to positive to quick increase volume and opposite ( downward from positive to negative) to quickly decrease volume. As far is using comfort with type R mode.... i mean i dont completely understand the logic as a stiffer feel at the wheel minimizes play that might exist due to the suspension softening up bumps and what not. Other than that be prepared to hear an earfull of opinionated backlash.. Jealous Si owner...

The worst hands down in type r is paint job. If you just touch the paint it will scratch. Rocks are so brutal on the paint. It has to be only one coat of paint only. Shame on Honda to sell cars like this. One season will destroy your car paint.

I completely agree I already have chipped paint in the front from rocks!

Type r is the best. Sale it and buy a Ford or GM car.
