@@ImSyroMalabar for nearly 2 centuries syrian catholics was directly ruled by latin church. 1887 syro malabar hierachy was established. It takes time to revive the faded traditions and to realize the real identity of the marthoma nasrani church

This orders of vestments show not the tradition of our Lord Jesus of Nazareth but they symbolise the power crazy people who enjoy the royal respects. These vestments are projecting the old era of pyramidal Church. It is high time that we really get out of these paraphernalia but go along with ordinariness of people of God. People in authority still believe that we are of Old Testament. If Jesus present here with us he will never opt for such kingly and glittering costumes. Reflection of a humble priest in India

This goes back to the vestments of Aaron in the old testament. You are a protestsnt christians influenced by Martin Luther.
