Happened to me too turned out my battery was going bad, it was 5 years old so it was time. I replaced it and now the message is gone, but i had to get a deep cycle battery since my fusion has auto stop/start. A regular battery will just get drained in no time.

During pin point test noticed Rear view camera connector got sulphation, after removed connector the drain is within the specification. Cleaned the connector and re fixed This Report from ford Explorer and the problem solved

I was getting this message on key off. The radio should stay on for 10 minutes...as long as you don't open the door. I don't know what the dealer did exactly. I recall they did something with the BCM - BODY CONTROL MODULE.

Stanton Taylor Did they replace the BCM? I’ve had this issue for 3 years. Been to the dealership 3 times, about to be 4. I just need to know what the exact problem is so I can pay to have it fixed for good. Please help!

Same here on 2017 Fusion Titanium. I seem to remember they replaced my RADIO control module. I noticed if I sat in the car after it was off and the radio had already timed out it would sound like the CD player was repeatedly try to eject a cd that wasn’t in there. I think it would continually do this causing the battery to drain. ??? Also noticed the shift knob would lite up not sure how or if it was related. After a couple visits to the dealership and there best guesses didn’t work they replaced the RCM and didn’t have any issues after that. They did claim that my battery was testing low so they replaced it. Took a month or two for the problem to come back. Edit: part may have been called Audio control module instead of Radio control module. Been a few years can’t remember correctly. But it did fix it.

Did you get this fixed? If so what was the issue ?

Ford dealership could not figure out the problem. I ended up getting a lemon law lawyer and won my case. Ford bought back my Edge and extra for a downpayment on another vehicle.

Disconnect the positive charge on the car battery while the car is off for a min. and it will reset to normal
@MLCOOK512 жыл бұрын
I have a Ford Flex it that now , all I have to do is disconnect the battery right?
@droidreid202 жыл бұрын
@@MLCOOK51 yeah disconnecting the battery for few mins resets the computer sensors, but the main reasons it goes into battery saver mode is because it senses cold weather which drain the battery or you haven’t driven the car long enough to charge the battery
@MLCOOK512 жыл бұрын
@@droidreid20 you don’t think the battery going bad it makes a sound like the starter going bad as well
@droidreid202 жыл бұрын
@@MLCOOK51 worst case scenario that is also possible but it depends on how old or worn the battery is have someone at autozone check it so you know for sure.
@davekarr68872 жыл бұрын
@@MLCOOK51 You can have the battery checked and replaced if needed....or unplug the sensor. I have a 2016 Flex and just went through this. It was causing my battery to drain.

Didn't tell us anything how to fix it.

Ford Motor Company could not figure out how to fix it.They bought the car back and I got a new one. I did read a couple years back about how hooking up your phone can cause problems.
