You should create resonant chambers for each drive, make little ported cabinets where the upper surface is of a thinner material and mount the floppy drives solidly to the thinner surface, this should accentuate the vibrations and make them louder, the thin surface acts as a speaker cone and the floppy drive acts as the magnet or driver....
