lot of people (rightfully) commenting that SOAD look bored, lifeless, etc. I was at this show and the crowd was super disrespectful during Mars Volta's opening set and threw a beer at Omar as he walked off the stage. Rumblings were that Daron was incredibly pissed. Probably wanted to get out of Philly asap lol

Really interesting show to watch and an equally interesting phase of the band itself. I love the evolution of Daron's setup here - Gibson SG and combo amps up top. His guitar tone drastically improved. Very much in his prime here I think. A lot more relaxed on stage, but playing solidly. Serj is right in the middle of his vocal transitioning here - a little burnt out vocally from the tour but still amazing to watch. He's also figuring out his new vocal style.. all with the aim of actually preserving his voice long term. You can tell there's some tensions going on behind the scenes too. This was a rough time for the band but amazing that they managed to weather it all to this day

2005 was a good time for the the bands live performances, but this is arguably one of the worst shows they've ever played. Another commenter said they were at the show and the audience was really rude to the opening band and I'm willing to bet something also happened in private between the band members already having them in a bad mood.
