Good thing you improvised. before you did this, I originally requested the Amseco BZ-51 Modular horn with the same SL-3 strobe in the closet.

Yeah but there's no need to have an audible in that small closet, so that's why I installed just a remote strobe.

I tend to call those motor horns ‘Fart Alarms’ because of how they normally sound, but these ones sound really good! I’ve actually seen these motor horns at a library before. Funnily enough, every pull station was a BG-6. Though I’m pretty sure the pulls and horn/strobes were from an older system since the panel was a Silent Knight SK5208. There was also i3 smoke detectors strewn about on that system as well.

These were the same fire alarms I had at my elementary school. They were all set on continuous which made it very loud especially that it echoed in the hallway

To my knowledge, FCI rebranded Simplex/Faraday mechanical horns back in the day. These horns have a more raspy, angrier tone, like when you strapped a soda can or water bottle to the rear tire of your mountain bike when you were a kid. The FCI/Simplex/Faraday have more of sharpe, smooth tone to them.

If you're talking about 2:33, no it was still in alarm, the button sticking out prevents the handle from being pushed back into its normal position. These horns kinda sound similar to that horn.

That's a cool system. But i changed my mind about the simplex and edwards bells for the 4004. I have one more system change. and this comes from 2 fire drill videos from a high school in Cloquet, Minnesota. Alarm: By the Panel: Pyrotronics HSD-24 (Rebranded Wheelock 7002T) Simplex 4906-9127 Pull Station: Simplex 4251-20 Coding: Temporal Backstory: I just watched 2 fire drill videos made by a user from Cloquet, Minnesota. The school that was featured had a Simplex System. It consisted of Simplex Truealerts and Wheelock 7002T's which the latter was leftover from an older system. and all of the alarms were panel coded to code 3.

The 4903-9426(4-wire, Red, 75CD, SmartSync or FreeRun TrueAlert) would be better suited as the 4004 doesn't have SmartSync NACs, only FreeRun.

also, i requested the HSD-24 since it's a 7002T rebranded by Pryotronics. but the 7002T's in the real building are the actual Wheelock models. The way the system was set up was similar to a fire alarm setup in one of safetech's videos. Except that system was on continuous and the Wheelock horn seen was the older Wheelock 7002.
