Must have another steps because when we do as shows video only a sentence, in front of another field appears. Abstract not appear in a separate part in excel.

Hi Uliana. In the video, at 1:40, you'll find a description of how to add the abstract to any style. It is best to use the Author Date style and edit it, rather than starting your own style from scratch. Click on "templates" under "Bibliography" and then on "insert field" in the right hand corner. @@ResearchMasterminds when i copy formatted from endnote, some does articles does appear as shown in one row. but some appears in five rows in separate sections, objectives, study selection, data extraction, conclusion. i could probably copy and add it to one row but any fasterway to do it?

Why did n't you remove the duplicates by using Endnote?

You are making a valid point. At that stage I did not trust any other methods, not even the remove duplicates function in excel, but now, I'll be happy to use that method in Endnote.

once the duplicates are removed, how do you search each article? (copy paste the reference? or is there any function)

Hi Anjali. Once all duplicates are removed, I go through each excel entry and decide whether to include the study based on title/abstract. When the time comes to search for the full texts, I copy and paste the reference into the various databases. You can also use the search function of the database and enter the surname of first author and the title (and maybe the year as well). Good luck. Enjoy the journey lots.
