Excellent video and congratulations on attaining your PhD! My girl is finally in school this year to start her PhD journey. I have watched several of your videos in the last few days (you have a very relaxing voice, very calming!), are you enjoying teaching? I bought a Kinbor from Ali Express after watching one of your videos several months ago, I thought I was getting a dated one, but it was undated and I haven't' used it yet. I like that you introduce less expensive versions of the Hobonichis. I'm actually using a Taiwanese planner, Take A Note and I really like it with a few exceptions. I don't always hit the like button but I do enjoy your videos and I am subscribed so I do get notified when you post. My girlie keeps trying to get me to use Instagram but I see enough on KZbin, lol! Thank you for all your hard work!!! PS - This video gave me some ideas I hadn't thought of - task oriented - and what is the planner going to feel like and is it pretty, etc. Good job! Thanks for posting!

Thank you so much! Your comment makes me so happy :) Shopping for a Kinbor is a hit or a miss. I had to try a few times to figure it out LOL. You need to really look at the photos closely (and reviews) to make sure you are getting what you're after. I've been curious about the Take a Note planner for a while. The layout looks like something I would enjoy. Maybe I will try one for 2025 (I already have so many planners this year haha). Thank you for your support! I love how this is such a thorough process on what to use and which on to use. I also like how you incorporated the existing planners you currently have. I also plan on using my m5 as my on the go wallet and plan to use my TN passport for work but I am still figuring it out. Oh well, we still have 4 months to go 😅

This was so good to hear your thought process. I really enjoy how others arrive at their destination to meet their needs and make you think about how and why you use the planner(s) you do. ❤ I will say i have no problem pulling out my pretty planner at work no matter the setting. My planner is for me. I never worry about what others think.... lol... on our college campus we started having planner meetups for those of us that love paper planners. The amount of happy planners and EC planners that came out of the woodwork was funny. Oddly i love a colorful Classic Happy planner cover, but i need neutral lined inserts that i can customize and decorate myself as i need. ❤

Sometimes it can feel that way for sure. But every once in awhile having multiple planners or notebooks can be a huge help. I’ve been planning for 30 yrs and the last 15 it’s definitely changed. What’s great about this channel and others is you can take what you want to help yourself.

To each their own. Some prefer a much more free-form life. Others (like me) find peace through order and organization. I keep one planner for home and another for work. I also usually have a journal going. This feels very freeing to me, as I get all of that information out of my head and into a system where I can trust that I will not forget or "lose" things. If you prefer nothing more than a sketch book, go for it.

Which Kiki K do you have? I have the light blue one with the cats on the fence. As you know I am no longer a fan because of her shady business practice to avoid income tax in the EU. However, I cannot part with this cover. I have my order in, and I am waiting for it impatiently. I ordered within the hour of sales. All cute planners. The cover I wanted sold out and I am waiting for a restock of the Little Things or else get it in the A5.

I know that Kikki.k! I used to have the same one. It’s called the Vanskap I think. So cute! It was the first binder I ever ordered. As for Hobonichi, I was surprised that the covers went very quickly. It might be the year of covers! I hope you get your Little Things cover. I’m gonna wait until November 1st though (for the Hon in English release) 😊
