PSA: Turn your volume down around 3:13. The audio on the sound is 150x louder than my voice. Rookie editing error. RIP to the tympanic membranes I mildly damaged in my quest to help.

Thank you for the explanation of histoplasmosis. I was diagnosed with coccidiodomycosis (I believe that is what it is called) back in January 2018. I had to have my left upper lobe removed. OMG, they thought I had lung cancer, but thank God it wasn't. The thoracotomy was so painful. Now, all my symptoms are back, but now with a rash all over my body. Sorry, TMI... I see my infectious disease doctor next Tuesday to go through all the testing again. I have no clue how i caught it. I've never been around bats or birds. The only thing I can think of is they found a lot of mold in my house I owned for 22 years. I never knew it was there. This disease is aweful. Plus, I'm in my first semester of nursing school. 😭. I'm going to have to finish over the summer.

great summarization and a dirty mind, loved it
@catchkritee4 жыл бұрын
This is a great summary!! If I can, I want to point out at 7:38 the serology for coccidiomycosis, I believe the ELISA being sensitive will help rule out [not rule IN] as sensitive tests do by testing positive for both true and false positive. A sensitive test can then be followed by a specific test to in fact rule IN i.e, differentiate the true positives from false positives. Thank you so much for making such good videos :)

Excellent explanation and ty for sharing it! One note, the unexpected extremely loud gunshot really startled me. If you could please atleast give a warning before sounds like that (loud or not) for the vets and anyone who's experienced gun violence i would really appreciate it 🙏🤕
