thank you a lot professor Uri Alon. I´m a mexican psychlogy student. I´m trying to understand hope, self efficacy, optimism and resilience as a dynamic agentic system. Osciltors are ahead in this course, so i´ll follow the hole lecture series.

Haha, the "weekend" in Israel is a set of Fridays and Saturdays. Sunday in there, thus, is like Monday of your culture :)

Hi, in this video, you mentioned that the timescale for transcription factor activation by the signal is microseconds. However, in the second edition of your book, Table 1.2, you said it was milliseconds timescale. Can you clarify? Thanks!

In the video, around 19:45, he mention microseconds as the timescale for the CONFORMATION CHANGES in the transcription factors; I presume, he's talking about what happens after the initial binding to the small molecules...
